You can't actually use the Gaussian's set in Web Grenade. Or any other immob power for that matter.
EDIT: Unless you mean Targeting Drone.. In that case, all the set bonuses are active regardless of Targeting Drone's current status. The only thing that won't work, is the chance for BU if Targeting Drone isn't toggled on.

Sounds like a bug to me because Ive just tried looking at the different incarnations of web grenade in Blaster, Corruptors and MMs and none of the Web Grenade powers accept Gaussian only the Immobilize sets.

What you're talking about isn't a set bonus. It's the proc effect. Any time you slot one of the Build Up procs, Mids sets activates it as a toggle and if it's already a toggle, sets it up as another portion of the same toggle. Turning it off and on does nothing to the actual set bonuses.|

And, as I said in the other thread wherein you brought this up, Mids' is not a direct line to the game. If it doesn't seem quite right, it's quite possible that the programmer's flubbed something.

With that said, it's a very nice tool, but don't expect that it will mirror everything correctly in the game or that it won't have bugs. In game, web grenade will not take tohit buff enhancements or sets.
I believe that a fix to Mid's will be out shortly. Though, I will gladly take this issue up with him if I can find him on.
May I ask if this is across all incarnations of it, or only for a certain AT?

So I was playing with mids and noticed something by accident. Would the gausian set actually only take effect when web grenade is used? Not sure if that part is a flaw in mids or not. I noticed that other set bonuses don't require the power to be active.
