Not really. I've never had levelup bonuses stack before...

This got lost in the shuffle.

I would take each as soon as it's available, frankly; I find myself facing Ruin Mages before level 11, so I don't hesitate to take status protection early.

However, if it's a choice between the two, Dark Regen. More things do damage than mezz. Dark Regeneration is your armor, your fortress, your angel, your place of peace.

Play a 50 Spines/Dark 50 Spines/Regen 50 Spines/WP 50 Spines/fire and will be the new Spines/elec

Dark is absolutely a fun one to play once you iron out some of the end issues, but to me personally its not that hard to do if you slot GENERALLY in the vicinity of twice rec for end use..with conserve and stuff in addition you will not see too too much downtime...I love all the spiners and for laughs I made a thorn PC Dom the other day, just to feel at home...congrats on running a not so popular build...not to say people dont like it, they just get scared, untill they see what can be done lol...cheers.

Were you in WW's last night on Virtue or was that a different El Chupacabrah (thats how this toon spelled it iirc)

Anyone have a Spines/Inv? Invincibility seems like it would be a lovely counter to all the AoE aggro a Spiney draws.

Stay Gold, Paragon. Stay Gold.

End heavy, plus as we all know it is not putting up Tank numbers. Seen a few around, but it is definitely not that common.

Nah, mine's Shadow Capra on Justice. I figured the original name would be taken and I can't spell it anyway.

I think you are referring to Madness Mages; Obsidian Shield will protect from them, but does nothing against a Ruin Mage's earthquakes.

There's plenty of ways to get knockback protection these days, I'll look into those.

Yes; a single -KB IO will protect you from those Ruin Mages. With my Dark Armor guys I typically get Combat Jumping and stick a Karma -KB in it, so I can also run around with immobilization protection and still see my costume.

Currently my style is using my Supercollider. Finally, a use for personal storage vaults! Now I just gotta stick one in my base...

Anyway, I'm currently 23 and tearing up DA, but still getting killed every now and then, especially by those damn Shamans and +2 mobs. (the bosses aren't too much of a hassle, I bet I'll have the badge in no time) I'm wanting for Immob protection and the Resistance offered by my empowerment station just doesn't suffice. I suppose Cloak of Darkness is the next power on order.

I've skipped s travel power thanks to a handy rental jetpack which I think I'm gonna start getting regularly (I usually have money left on the gift cards I use to subscribe, I feel it's worth it). This has allowed me to get active a lot quicker, but I have a Winter's Gift set in storage and noticed that Dark Armour doesn't seem to have any slow protection. If I get a travel pool, what would you reccomend and how soon?

I like to get travel powers some time before 20 but you can push it back later. If you want immob protection early and don't want to run cloak of darkness because it uses a good bit of end, I'd say grab combat jumping. That's a good place for alot of different procs and it barely costs any end (.06 vs .26). I took SS with my spines/dark and grabbed cj for the extra def and a lotg proc holder.

Here's mine and it uses the similar pieces as yours does. I named him the Nocturnal Hornet...

And I can use Combat Jumping as a thematically appropriate ghetto travel power if I'm gonna slot the Winter's Gift set... excellent.

Your 3 basic armors arent that bad at end consumption.
Its when u keep CoD and deathshroud on all the time that you feel the pinch. Im not even gonna start with CoF.

Id grab CJ for immobilize protection and avoid Accro altogether as well (another huge end drain, slot -knock IO's if u can afford them).

Theft of essense proc in DR is a game changer. Good luck finding one of them!!!
Performance shifter helps tons as well.

Other than that. Moderate endredux slotting in your attacs and you should be golden.

IO stuns have great recovery bonus's. For relatively little cost. Impervium armor is the beast as well.

Try for the +endurance accolades as well. Their relatively easy to get.
