When you're arresting villains or thrashing heroes, what do you like to eat?
This could prompt an arrousing answer but truefully...
Pizza and ice tea.

Hey, nothing wrong with that....Pizza is delicious too! So is Iced Tea (hopefully that's sweet iced tea that you're drinking)
I try not to eat at my computer desk, as it's just too risky to ruin a keyboard or spill something. But, when I do eat and play, I like things like pretzels or veggies with dip and some iced tea. Not that I don't enjoy pizza, but the thought of having it near my desk or keyboard makes me want to clean something.

Well I'm vegan so mostly I snack on something like almonds (for the oil) or sunflower seeds.
I've lately been addicted to Stacy's Naked Pita chips, so that works too.
Drink? In summer, usually mugicha (roasted barley tea) or maybe iced coffee... well, not anymore, because yesterday I spilled a glass of coffee on the WHITE (formerly) carpet in my home office
Really, though, I'm not a marathon gamer any more - It's an hour here, and hour there - so the survival aspect of snacking is removed from the scenario
I will add that were I not vegan, I would hold that cold, leftover pizza is the perfect snack.
It's nutritionally comprehensive, so it satisfies the survival requirements of marathon gaming fare.
Because it's cold, it's rigid, so it's easy to eat one-handed. Also, spilled condiments are easier to clean up because they're gelled, not liquid - no dire spillage of sauce into keyboards, etc.
It required minimal preparation outside of simple extraction from an refrigerator, so you can type "brb snack" and you really will be... rb.
It's sort of at once repulsive and delicious, which appeals to the average gamer's over-developed sense of irony.
I'm sure there are fine points I've missed, but there's the gist.

Snacking in general is a slippery slope. I drink water and chew gum for the most part.

Given that we don't have a dining room--it was turned into the computer room--my computer desk is where I eat 90% of my meals. Pretty much anything that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or supper has been eaten here. The trick is to make sure you've turned all your food into stuff that can be shoveled quickly into your face with one hand. Don't forget to make like a squirrel: your cheeks are useful storage areas! Room temperature food is also the norm.
My grandmother would be so ashamed of my table manners these days.
I'll eat pretty much whatever's around. Of course that means raiding a cabinet at 3 or 4 in the morning, but hey, I've gotta eat sometime.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Sunflower seeds, Ramen noodles, dry cereal, or whatever my meal of the day (lunch, dinner) is.
anything as long as its food. Mostly pizza or pizza pockets, chips, toquitos, etc....
But my favorite is a nicely done sandwich with bologna and cheese, with lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, and mayo with a dash of salt and pepper with of course Iced Sweet Sweet Tea.
If the sandwich stuff isnt here, then its my favorite place in the world i go......SUBWAY.
God i love sandwiches
Like some of my characters, I enjoy fish sticks and low-fat white or chocolate milk.
I also nibble on cold BBQ pizza from time to time!

Genoa salami or smoked sausage, really sharp cheddar cheese (or mizithra cheese), and a good red wine.

Usually don't eat at the comp, but it's pretzels or sunflower seeds if I do. Rum and Cherry Coke is a MUST though for any session.
I think it's been a long time since I've seen this kind of thread, but what's your favorite food that you like to eat when you're settling in to a full day and/or night of CoX? Anything goes as long as it's food! And if you've got a recipe for your favorite snack/meal, post it!
For me, it's Ruffles Original chips with homemade clam dip!
* 2 small packages (6 ounces total) cream cheese
* 1 small clove of garlic, crushed and finely minced
* 2 cans (7 oz) minced clams; add clam juice from one can (extra clam flavor)
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon paprika
* dash ground cayenne pepper or hot pepper sauce
* 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Use a handheld mixer for best results. It's ready when it's creamy smooth
The original recipe is linked below. I've modified this one to my own tastes
