Scandinavian global channel?

Well it is past 6:30 am here so my head might be getting a little mushy. But I was just strolling through some of the forums and sub-forums we have here and I start to notice a lot of players from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

I know I have brought a few friends into the game but none of them are left or at least very occational visitors. I have also met a few Swedes on Guardian. But with the forum merge and all, I think (well it seems to me at least) more from sweet Scandinavia are playing the game than I thought.

Är det någon som vet om det finns en global kanal för skandinaver? If there is no such global channel think there'll be any interest in a channel like that? Who knows? Maybe we'll even pick an unofficial Nordic server.

I've met quite a few Scandinavians on Defiant server - and I think there is/was a Danish SG too - but I've not heard on any global channel for them.

There's one finnish channel in Defiant. Its completely dead. I can't see need of those. I just enjoy chat with all players in game, not just from some area or country. A few days ago I was in random team and noticed the leader is from finland. He was really surprised when I whispered him something I think theres a lot of finnish, but who knows. Characters name could be anything.

My swedish was horrible at school. I can barely remember a couple of words. So we had to use english anyways in scandinavia. So what's the difference?

I am involved in Scandinavian SGs on Virtue and Freedom (the Virtue one is the most active).

Make a Scandianvian global channel and I will promote it (and join it).

I know a lot of poor Scandinavian people on the EU servers, but I went for the US Servers myself as that's where the players are.

I am Swedish myself.

But yeah, seriously, I have seen few Fins on Defiant when I used to play there.
On US servers however, none so far. There was a channel for Eu refugees though, but it kind of died because everyone was too busy playing (farming) AE.

It wouldn't matter anyway, since Eu people couldn't join the channel because they happend to be on the wrong side.

But yeah, I would be intressed in Scandi channel, atleast it would give me some activity while these yanks are sleeping.

I never thought to look for a Scandinavian channel, but I'm interested, too.

After all, what's the point of having an "Æ" key on my keyboard if all I type is in English?

Allright. Even if we're just a handful of people interested I'll go ahead and start this channel. And since I want our Finnish brothers and sisters to join too. I'm thinking of calling it Nordic something.. I'll get back to you.
