I would agree that the low duration is a pain. Perhaps increasing the duration and making the power activation non rooting would help - rather than making it perma?
I'm not against perma but it may be argued that it would be too much of an advantage?

And doesn't the duration always seem to run out right in the middle of a spawn or, even worse, right as you open up?
I want to know which weapon dealer sells them to the Malta Group.
1 second cast time, non-interruptible, all most no end cost, permanent duration even if the caster is defeated.
I want to buy MY Gun Drones at THAT store.
I always wonder why the devs think that powers that won't work for the MoBs (like Gun Drone, Sniper Attacks, the various versions of MoG, and Trip Mines as examples) are bad and should be changed for the MoBs because of "AI limitations" but are ok to be a PITA for the players and should remain the status quo.

On another note, I would gladly take a melee stun if it had the duration of theirs too.

I would settle for it being a toggle and floating around like the drone does.

half a vent but id seriously like see this changed its such a fun toon but the time sink is horrible.
It really is a drag to constantly kneel and call this thing during missions with teams, i wind up not even calling it half the times to keep up with the team to help them.
and the amount of time the animation (kneeling) takes is quite long, i wont even mention that its interuptable too, oops too late i did.
