Wanna stay home and draw.
I want to relearn to draw. I picked up a pencil and stared down at some paper yesterday, and then shook my head because I couldn't even pick a place to start. Yeesh.

Actually, I did start once. Then I was having trouble with a body pose and downloaded some poser style program then had trouble with it and spent 90min dinking around with it, then gave up on it for the time being and never got back to my sketch.
Good intentions and all that...
Better to start somewhere and find out it's wrong than to not start at all!

They started the yule log early here in Canada on some cable channel, was kind of nice at 4am...
I miss the snow... used to live in north sweden. I recall driving to school one day, fresh plowed road, 30 mins later arriving at school it had snowed around 30cm already. Should've put a plow on my car, heh.
I'm lucky now if i see a snowflake here during winter... all rain and fog. Grey and boring. pfeh.
Here in Texas everything just dies; brown grass, leafless trees, gray skies and black ice.

I live in PA for three years (NE of Pilly about 45 min.) My first winter there was the worst one in 100 years, dropped something like 4' of snow overnight, shut down the entire state for a day or two.
My first day back to work the comments from some of the other folks made me rais an eyebrow at them. "Bein' from Cal-y-forn-eye-aye, you probably not use to this."
I looked over one shoulder around the shop, then the other shoulder, and responded...
"Guess that would explain why I'm one of only 4 people that showed up today..."
I've got a picture similar to the one Viv posted above, of my old truck half buried in snow.

Almost worse than lake effect snow (Wisconsin is a state of 10,000 or so lakes... yay us
) is "Plow Effect" snow. grumble grumble... bastiches!... grumble.
