Segregating English & non-English forums

I've done some checking with the user panels, and I must admit confusion. I'm trying to set it up so that I don't see France, German, or other non-English posts on the forums, but I don't see any way of setting that up.

Is this an option that can be initiated so that individuals can choose which sections of the forums they'd like to view? Especially with 'new posts/search' options?

Thanks.

Try using that, or click on the English subfolder heading, and book mark it. (which is the above link)

@Mr Falkland Islands"A Nation Goes Rogue" Arc# 2369 "Toasters and Pop Tarts" Arc#116617

To expand on this, I selected the few forums that I browse regularly and used the "Subscribe to Forum" feature (under Forum Tools while browsing). Then I bookmarked my User CP so that I only see the ones I picked. I love it.

I found and bookmarked the English site, but I'm curious as to how when I hit the New Posts link I get a bunch of non-english announcements? Is there a way around that?

Also, what is the difference between "Subscribe" and "Tracking" options?

...just wonderin

I'm pretty sure there isn't, but it isn't that annoying, just ignore it.

The font tag ended up between the [ and the rest of the quote] tag.

See, the point isn't whether or not it's ignoring, the point is that beforehand, I could view what i wanted in english, and now I have to view everything. If they're going to go so far as to put the boards together on one system, they could at least create a selector tab so that those people who don't speak languages other than American/English don't have to see the other posts..

Actually, at worst we have the exact same viewing options as before.

We just didn't have non-American languages to deal with in the first place.

What are you, a Californian to be complaining about this kinda stuff?

Right. so they should have included the possibility 'pages only displayed in English' to be available to their users when they put all the forums together. or vice-versa.

I just use the English subsetting. It is set up exactly the same as the old forums.

The link Catwhoorg posted should get you there.

There is, actually. The link has to be something like:

http://boards.cityofheroes.com/searc...61,562,563,564

At least, I frequent another board where something similar works.
