Maaaann tell me how! That was the goal initially I guess, although I did want the crazy regen available too. I cannot get my defense capped without gimping myself somewhere. The last build I posted looks pretty good to me though. However, if you can cap the defense, just whisper the secret in my ear. I won't tell anyone I swear it!

First post after a Powerforge! *edit* second dammit.

So now I'm trying to recreate what I saw in Mids last night regarding the slotting of the PS proc. Well Mids doesn't seem to react to it at all now. In or out it doesn't change my numbers at all. So am I crazy? Does Mids reflect the PS proc or not? In my copy broked? I also couldn't open the build I posted from the link but using the data chunk worked fine.

Can someone confirm for me that Mids does or does not accurately represent the PS proc please.

Mids doesn't show the +end proc in action. I'm actually glad it doesn't. It shows the gfc build up proc in action and its very missleading because it shows it as if its always in action. Showing the +end proc as always in action would be a total mess.

Mid's doesn't represent the proc as mentioned already. My simplfied quick calculation method is to add .2 to whatever it shows for each proc in an auto power.

If I recall correctly... the proc is better then any slot in Stamina. It's better then the 3rd slot in quick recovery.

I'd anticpiate someone shortly will come along to do the math (and show thier work).

So that's an average of one proc per 50 seconds returning 11 end on this build, or 11/50 = .22 eps recovered from ONE proc on average right?

Did we ever determine for a fact if it's 10% of real end total or 10% of base end on that proc?

What would be the math on that with two +end procs slotted? One in stam and one in QR. I'm sure its not as simple as double thus making it .44 end/sec

I think it is. That was my intent with the build now, however actually comparing the options I don't see much benefit to using one in Stamina. I did place one in QR to replace the End Mod/Rech. This takes my net recovery from 3.07 down to 2.95 eps. Now we add in the .22 eps gained from the proc that Mids does not reflect for a total eps of 3.17. Not a ton but an improvement nonetheless!

Let's look at Stamina now.

I have it 2 slotted with normal IOs. If I were to add a slot to it and use 3 Perf Shifters the set bonus would be+28 HP. That's very desirable to me being /WP. The problem here is that I am at the "rule of five" for that bonus already and don't see a place that I might shuffle things around to make it useful, so three slotting with PS would be a waste. Leaving it Two slotted yields a very small return for pulling one IO and replacing it with the Proc. Now my current recovery is 2.95 (remember we have to add in .22). Removing one IO and adding the proc in it's place drops the recovery to 2.76. Factoring the proc in adds .22 again for a total of 2.98. A gain of only .03 that is also subject to a bit of chance as the proc can't be counted on all the time. Not really worth it in Stamina to me then.

Now stealing a slot from someplace and adding it into Stamina to slot it with two basic IOs and the proc probably would be worth it but I don't see a slot I wanna dump when, according to my math (always suspect ), my attack chain is sustainable anyway.

If given the slots to do so, I like to 4 or 6 slot QR with shifters. You hit ED as well as have a rec bonus and other usefull bonuses like aoe def. As well as the +end proc. But that's only if I have slots to spare. Most of the time, I don't. So I settle for 4 slots. That reminds me. Isn't the HP bonus the same as a 3 slotted numina set? If so, you could replace one with Heal IO.

When going for +hp and regeneration, I like to consider the vet pet. Also, DN would still do a large amount of -dam to an AV without resistances to the attack they use.

Here's a build that has 2560 life and 83.8 regeneration at one target. It only has roughly 34% defense to all damage types, but it still has 62.5% recharge. The only real thing it lacks is +accuracy from bonuses.

I was on my Fire/Stone Tank a few nights ago and she has ~113 or ~115 max end, but the proc still only reported giving 10 back in the healing channel. That could be a display error, though.

The only way to concretely test it that I can think of is to have your recovery floored while detoggled, then watch the Combat Attributes to see how much end it gets when it fires.

I'd try to boost lethal/smashing to 45% defense and sacrifice the other defense levels. Going from 35% lethal/smash to 45% lethal/smash is going to cut incoming damage by 66% in probably over 90% of your fights. Keeping in mind, if an attack is part smashing and part dark.. having 45% defense to smashing gives you 45% defense to that attack, reguardless of your dark defense %.

I don't think going from high 20s to mid 30s defense to the other types will impact you as much getting that last 10% in lethal/smash.

I think endurance is ok with the accolades.
I'm coming up short on recharge for the chained you mentioned.
2036 hp without accolades and 474% regen.
accuracy is a little lower than what i'd like it to be...

Let's look at Stamina now.

I have it 2 slotted with normal IOs. If I were to add a slot to it and use 3 Perf Shifters the set bonus would be+28 HP. That's very desirable to me being /WP. The problem here is that I am at the "rule of five" for that bonus already and don't see a place that I might shuffle things around to make it useful, so three slotting with PS would be a waste. Leaving it Two slotted yields a very small return for pulling one IO and replacing it with the Proc. Now my current recovery is 2.95 (remember we have to add in .22). Removing one IO and adding the proc in it's place drops the recovery to 2.76. Factoring the proc in adds .22 again for a total of 2.98. A gain of only .03 that is also subject to a bit of chance as the proc can't be counted on all the time. Not really worth it in Stamina to me then.

Now stealing a slot from someplace and adding it into Stamina to slot it with two basic IOs and the proc probably would be worth it but I don't see a slot I wanna dump when, according to my math (always suspect ), my attack chain is sustainable anyway.

Whew.
I've already done the math for all of the Perf Shifter slotting in both QR and Stamina here.

That's very interesting there. Certainly there are things I don't like but it can't be denied that you hit the softcap across the board. Well done. I'm going to spend some time deconstructing that.

I'll check again tonight. I should be seeing Bill Z Bubba grants you 11 endurance or whatever the message is since he's got all the powerbuff accolades if it's 10% of total end.

The problem that I've always had is that it's not constant. I've gotten 10 end, 11 end, 10.56 end, and a bunch of other numbers less often. I've yet to actually see the number be stable as would be expected if it were a constant value. What makes me believe that it does scale with max end rather than base is because in all the times I've tested my performance in game, it's always meshed with the calculations I've done assuming that it scales with max end.

note: I'm still going to do this as a claws brute rather then DM... the damage chain/endurance balance is better that way at this recharge.... not to mention the "eat this" factor of claws animations.

The best way to test this is while in an -end/-recovery crash state. Someone that has the proc and at least 110 max end on any AT with a nuke or elude like power needs crash and watch the "end bar" (not the chat box) and see how much you get. Hopefully, it will fire douring the crash the first try.
