Hey everyone,

How do you like the new forums? I see plus and minuses here and there, but overall I'm very happy with it. So let's celebrate! And just like any momentous occasion such as New Year's, a major resolution, or victory, I'm going to kiss the nearest person.

Pluses:
- We can have images in our posts.

Negatives:
- Threads are no longer highlighted when there are new responses.
- No way to respond to specific messages in a thread.
- No longer able to click on a thread title and be taken to the last read message.
- No way to include links with a link title.

Overall - Meh. I like the old format better.

In rough order...

- They technically are, but just by a bolded/not bold font which can be sort of hard to pick up on.

- Not sure what you mean by that, but now you have to Quick Reply off of specific posts, which sort of annoys me but sort of compensates for that a bit.

- There's a downward arrow to the left of each thread title that will do exactly that, dear sir.

- Haven't linked anything yet, but I'm sure that's mildly disappointing. Then again, my sig-line still seems to work. So not sure what's going on there.

I believe you can, actually still put a link title in - but, you have to enter it all manually (there isn't the old "URL" dialog that steps you through it). The syntax is still the same, tho.

And yeah - there's still the "Quote" and Reply" buttons in each post, so you oughta be able to specifically reply to any particular post you want.
