Welcome home

And make sure you're happy with your new forum name - the Euro and American boards are merging this week, and you only get one chance to pick a name

Getting my open beta CO code this week, and I'm going the other way, the more I see, the more interested I get!

Maybe I eventually indeed will leave this game!

Well, we always had our suspicions

But you might find CO is not quite what it seems

I go both ways...

But having recently been in conversation with an old time CoH player (@***_****) who says that if it is released in its current state (about a month from launch) it will fail as it needs a huge amount of work. I'll wait until free trials happen unless it does bomb... then I won't.

Maybe you should edit your friends name out Ninja?

Wouldn't want him to possibly get booted for NDA stuff.

He hasn't actually told me any specifics merely that the game isn't ready for launch. We were discussing other games that with a month to go before launch didn't do so well on launch. Which one or other of us have beta'd. Auto Assault and TR in this case.

But whatever.

I think CO will last a little longer than AA and TR

Although, if it doesn't go so well, I wouldn't expect them to concentrate on it too much when they have a mega brand like Star Trek to work on...

Would either have been released if they had thought they'd fail so soon?

Still remaining off topic, I think CO would benefit greatly from a delay in its proposed September launch.

I say this only from the viewpoint that the CO devs use that time wisely....

i would say a bit of gameplay and content

So, without being an NDA buster, would you say it's the graphics, the gameplay or the content that needs the most work?

[/ QUOTE ]

I really can't say GG. I do know that the CO devs are hard at work on certain aspects of the game though.

What I will say is that graphically the game is excellent - with outlining disabled.
