Issue 16 power colors, extra suggestion

Its great to see this feature implemented, but I wonder if its too much to ask for the power pools (plus ancillary/patron) to be customisable too?

For example: Id plan to make my electric weilding brute use yellow electric, however its patron electric powers would still be red? This would seriously compromise the effect.

Same deal with my fire blaster, if i changed its colors, both hasten and the fire ancillary powers would then be the wrong color, and it would look strange.

I hope this is taken into consideration

I hope that too...

The power pools and patron/epic powers are the most standard colors. And as such will stick out the most.

I would have thought the APPs will be the easiest for them to add in as a few of them are just clones of powers that will be customisable. But thats just my opinion.

Similar with some of PPPs as well, although some are more unique (e.g. Mako)

And definitely please make Hasten/SS customisable!

So hopefully they will either get them in for I16 and surprise us or they may be added in a patch shortly after.

The reason pool and epic powers aren't yet customisable is simply a matter of workload. Each customisable power has to be changed by hand. Here is a post from BAB which should give you an idea of how much work was involved.:

I'm still trying to nail down an exact date for when we started working on this, but so far the earliest reference I can find is from a document created in March of 2008. I know there were some meetings before that document was made, but I can't find the date or meeting notes from the initial "Lets do this!" meeting, which I would consider the official start of this massive undertaking.

Unofficially, I've been trying to figure out ways to do it since around Issue 11, but every idea involved new tech and a tremendous amount of data parsing...two things that simply would have never happened back then with the size of our team.

Obviously, we haven't been working 100% on this since we started. A bit here, a bit there...time taken for other Issues, bug fixes, booster packs, etc. But we've been working on it pretty focused for the last 6-8 months.
