MA problem - instant fail

My first mission contains the rescue of 3 characters, an ambush at the rescue of one of the characters, and a battle. All the characters are set to "Required for mission complete" but whenever I free one of them, they automatically run to a specific door on the map, exits, and then I'm sent out of the mission with a failed dialog - telling me I failed to rescue them all...

They are created as three seperate rescues (not one with quantity set to 3). Anyone know how to solve this problem?

If more information is needed, just ask.

A few possible reasons. Sorry if seems a bit "rude" but obviously have to check the obvious stuff first.

1) Are the hostages classed as allies/aka killable? If ANY of them die then mission will fail.

2) When you enter the mission are the hostages in combat mode instantly? In other words do you have to rescue them before they die?

3) Any other objectives on the map that can cause a mission fail?

4) In regards to the ambush, is the same ambush group [if custom] tied to each of the hostages?

Cant really think of anything else but if you want i can log in and run it with you to try and help also.

5) What exit method is set for the hostages, probably flee, when win condition is freed, check this and bug report it to devs if that option is faulty...

Make suer the hostages are set to follow after rescue not to flee the map.

Also make sure the hostages aren't set to fight in any way or are targettable. Also make sure they are set to ally otherwise they may start fights on their own. Perhaps you could try 'chaining' the objectives? Like the after finding the 1st he mentions another person or both further along. Just an idea to mix the mechanics. I would try making 2 normal rescues and one lead out. Do you have a hostile ambush tied to the 1st one? If so the ambush may be showing up and killing the other hostages en route to you.

Also anything set to 'Rogue' may be causing this issue as well by making fights/aggro that was not initially planned.

1) I dont know where I can make this setting. The only thing I can think of is "Enemy Group Alignment" which is set to Enemy.

2) They dont fight, they are just doing the animation i set them to, and just stand there until I kill the surrounding group.

3) Not other than the 15 min timelimit. But it fails as soon as a captive exits the map - not before. I dont see how an ambush or battle can fail the mission.

4) Yes, it's a custom group and it's the same group all the way through the mission.

5) Where do I set this option? I thought the fleeing was just default at rescue.

I guess the same goes for your guestion as above - where do I set what action to do at rescue?

Well, I dont want them to be rescued in a certain order - they just all have to be rescued for mission complete. I dont have anything set to Rogue, and I'm sure he dont die on the way, because I follow him all way to the door and see him enter. Then at that second, the mission ends...

Also, the little questionmark box at the end of each mission objectives says the following about the Captive missions:

Release Captive
A captive is someone who you must go into the map and free from surrounding enemies. Once the captive is free, they will flee to the nearest exit. They can't be killed and will not fight with you. For that, use and Escort or Ally mission goal.

So it seems they cant be killed and will not follow, but run to nearest exit.
