i found the costume problem (QOL)
This game isn't Marvel though, best off waiting for their MMO and play that to create Marvel characters.
And I have no idea what your suggestion is about, TBH. Greater Poly counts would be great for all character models and would make all models look better/sexier (I think). But I don't think there is any lack of sexiness on the female model. Be nice if you could drop the breast slider further to create more androgynous models but that is a different issue.
I think what sorudo is trying to say is that the distance betwean the top of the hips and the crotch on the female model is to big and that the female model would look better if this distance was decreased.
While i don't think that's the problem with the female model i do kind of agree that the model is a bit off the sizing between hips waist and bust all seem wrong and the head has always struck me as being a bit on the big side.
very true the look of the model can be improved a fair bit with some slider fiddling but it would be nice if the default settings gave a better (super heroin) proportioned figure to begin with.
just a preview if what i am talking about

ofcouse, if you browser trough neko's deviant arts, you will see some very nice drawings that has this too.

Thats not really a good example tho, because in that particular pic it gets that appearance simply due to those very low cut pants, which would show a good tuft of hair a bit below her belly button and if she'd turn around you'd prob see half of tushie poking out. And is further accented by her actually leaning forwards.
And none of the pics in my gallery really show that either. Perhaps the commission from Yaoumei is the closest one. While the others aren't really, but shown by having the skirt really short and sitting really low on her waist.
If you want more examples on how undergarments and pants with a really low cut will give this effect as well, you can look for an artist named NekoChank on DA.
Very true clothing can alter the preseption of where the waist line is
maybe some low slung belts are in order
I personally find the arms on the female models to annoy me the most. I have never, once, in my entire freaking life ever seen anyone, female, male, deranged or otherwise, stand like that. The men sometimes look somewhat ape-like, but generally pull it off. The female model's idle stance, and IMO the run pose, was made by a moron.
I think being able to alter where the wasitline is for postioning of belts and such would be nice. If I knew how, Id try and build a better system, but, sadly, I've yet to go through Uni for that sort of thing
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

The run animation is designed to look good from behind. Well for female model the huge and male look awful from any direction. Also when the body is doing anything but standing still the neck stretches oddly which IMO looks awful.
But I seem to recall reading that the various animations in game were done from scratch rather than mapping an actors actual motion. That might be a nice upgrade to see and make the whole thing look better.

Oh god wouldn't it just?
Rule number one of any game based on humans/humanoid creatures; Study your bloomin subject matter. It's elementary!
IMO, the female run animation looks [censored] horrible. Its all elbows. At least the male and huge look semi-believable, but the female arms should be lopped off an replaced, frankly.

Male and huge look fine if you're RPing that they're chimps or gorillas.
Seriously watch an adult male athlete run then compare it to the in game version.
As for female models... wouldn't know about the elbows... not what I watch TBH.
Plus I prefer fly on most characters.
And we need detailed fingers and hands, and more realistic bust shapes too.
@Golden Girl
City of Heroes comics and artwork
What? You don't like those gravity defying assets? Fair enough! Yes more realistic hands and feet plus assets with that little bit of bounce when running and walking... oh and walking would be nice too.
Walking with a general natural looking walk for men and a (slight, not exaggerated) hip-swinging walk, almost like a strut, walk for females.
All basic animations could do with a good overhaul tbh but realistically I guess they're what they describe as 'fit for purpose'.

there is a low poly solution, bid for power models always have the thumb and pointing finger from the rest of the hand.
while watching some marvel cartoons and playing COX, i finaly found out what's wrong with the models of the game.
ppl often wants to make there female character pretty sexy, but they all end up blocky and lame.
it's pretty easily solved, but still takes some time.
it's this part:

it sounds weird but that's the breaking point, just that point makes every female pants look like 80's nerds with high belts.
but if it would be a bit like this:

it would make the whole "making a sexy female" a lot better and enjoyable.
don't get the wrong idea, i just want to make the game a bit more modern while keeping inside the engine limits.
