I think you can burn you CoH folder onto a DVD, and then just copy it from that.

Not much point burning the whole thing (and I'm not sure a windows install will be any good on a mac anyway), what you need to back up is the folder called piggs which is all the game data. copy that across to the laptop, personally I use a network connection as its easier but DVD or USB stick will do the job too.
As your new laptop is a Mac...
You will need to Download the Mac Client. (EU version linked.)
The PC version doesn't have the Mac executeable wrapper around the CoX client.
Once installed and pached, if you login with your original PC account,
then all the additional content you unlocked will still be available.

Did the same personally i just downloaded the mac client from the site and let it patch everything i was in no rush. The only realistic uick patch is to straight copy some of the files but that'll get complicated when it comes to inserting those in the right places in the .app (The .app file has things muddled around a bit IIRC)
Just checked its a case of finding the .app and showing contents, from there its:
contents -> Resources -> transgaming -> C_Drive -> coh
From that you can change the windows version as you would normally all the files are there 
MAc client is done by transgaming? (As in people who do linux things through cedega?)
Wow I thought the Mac client would have been a full conversion done in house. 
Tried to download that from your link Coolio, but keeps saying that the application is damaged or incomplete. Must be doing something wrong.... do you need to download the original game first?
