I would imagine that the Apex and Horus characters are tied to Blue King Comics.
War Witch I would think slipped through as the comics run ended in may 2005, issue 5, forest of dread which added War Witch to the game, came out around September (I think) would have been in development and I would think it was too late to take her out
I would assume that the character model/design is the problem, I'm not really sure, all I know is that when I asked if there was a possibility of seeing Horace or Apex in game I was told there were issues relating to ownership that was stopping them.
Perhaps Avatea could try and shed some light on this. At the same time what about the other 2 characters from the Korea trailer, Mirror Spirit is in, Foreshadow was not only in the Korea video but he was in the CoV trailer with the Freedom Phalanx attacking the Arachnos Leaders.(He's the guy in the white.) He had a make over to make him more 'western' for the US and EU players, whatever that means. We still don't have Rose Star or the other guy with the Sword and Gun.
Foreshadow is also the trainer in The Hollows and mirror Spirit is the trainer in Faultline.

Not seeing Rose Star or Spark Blade in game definitely dashed my hopes after seeing them. Scrapper with pistols? I tried the Witch Hunter in that new Warhammer game. Loved it, would love something similar.

Have Crey Industries ever made an attempt to "legally" recover the Positron Armour?
On the same subject, are Positron and Synapse simply waiting to gather the evidence they need to take on Crey Industries, or have they decided not to seek revenge?
