Personally, no. I hate "Are you sure?" boxes and turn the damn things off at every opportunity. As I see it if someone is too dumb, or drunk to check the amount paid. Bingo for the recipient.
put a tick box to "never show this again" and make it possible to re-activate it if you change your mind in future and I'll slap a /Signed on this 
See the problem there is the sort of person who hurrys and makes this sort of mistake is exactly the sort of person who will see this once and switch it off forever. And then make the typing error.
So I'm not sure how useful this would end up being in solving the problem
Yep that is why I mark any optional box like that as useless. Without the "don't ask again" option the box is an annoyance. I don't want to click yes 18 times just to buy 18 things. However, as Carnifax says, most people will turn the popup off meaning that they are free to make the mistakes anyway.
The main problem I get at WW is the lag when shopping. I click things, they seem to have gone through normally, I move on, then find I've spent 1,000,000 on a level 10 Training Enhancement!

The lag one that annoys me is selling. I type 500 click the sell button, next item type 500 click sell. Argh.. I just put this item on the market for 500,500 as the click was ignored.
I accidently sold a purple I was storing in the black market due to market lag, that realy peeved me off.
Last week I got a huge amount of influence at Wentworths, about ten times as much as I would have expected for the thing I sold. I guess it was someone that happened to add an extra "0" and return, and it bought my thingie before the poor sap could cancel.
It would be nice if Went's asked "Do you really want to bid this much" if you are bidding more than twice of what's in the log or some other reasonble breaking point.
