Piston Gloves!

I noticed how the piston boots would look awsome on the back alley brawler guy to match his gloves, so then I figured, theyre probably a set. Knowing there aren't any custom gloves in the game, why not release the back alley brawler's gloves as piston glove?

As a rule Player characters will never get Non-player character items, especially signature NPC items such as BaB's gloves.

Trust me, I would love to be able to have the Clockwork Kings style brain in jar with the floaty eyeballs as a head options sadly it's about as likely as me winning the lottery for it to turn up because it's what defines the Clockwork king.

NPC costumes are specifically tailored to that NPC, it's not like they used a player model and simply stuck the bits on. If we were to get NPC costumes as parts, there is nothing more I would love trust me on this (I would willing pay £20 for all the non-signature NPC costume pieces in a booster pack) then they would actually need to be made for atleast 2 models if the pieces was gender restricted to male (male and huge) or all 3 if the piece wasn't to be gender restricted.

Only recently have they been making NPC costumes available to the player but these costumes come in the same issues when the NPC group was introduced (Vanguard and Romans have NPC versions and a version available to player characters).

The amount of work it would take to make all the NPC options available to us is quite staggering and sadly this late in the games lifespan, it's very unlikely they'll bother.

Personally I wish they'd have made all the regular NPC faction costume pieces available to us from the start bar the ones like Tarantulas and snakes (different body types completely).

Hope that doesn't depress you too much but it's the sad truth of the matter...

Ah no, well I'm sad to hear that we won't be able to get NPC costumes in the game tough, but yeah, that's life I guess.
Thanks for clearing that up.

I was very surprised to see Blue Shield's signature shield being unlockable for this very reason.

Is it unlock able?

I know it appears on the wiki as a unlock able shield but there's no how to unlock instructions (or there wasn't when i looked) i had reckoned it was added as a shield because at some point blue shield is going to appear as either a ally or foe in a mission.

It is not unlockable, it was made so Blue Steel, the developer/NPC, can appear in-game.

Actually at the risk of being pedantic the chances of you getting the Clockwork King brain in a jar thing is less likely than you winning the lotto. However, if you did win the lotto you could buy the entire game and then do what you want with it

We might get something similar in a Science Booster Pack someday, maybe.

Would love stuff BASED off existing groups, though.
Like more accurate historical kit, like WW2 stuff (5th Column inspired), decent steampunk kit (Nemesis) more punky looking kit, ripped jeans etc (Freaks....actually a lot of NPCs) and suchnot.

This actually crossed my mind while wondering what they mite stick in a (mad) science booster pack the other thing that i considered was a back mounted Jacob's Ladder similar to the ones used by the electric wielding freaks

Same, if only because then they have NO excuse for not giving us other back details, like the VG back detail
