Servers were taken down earlier for maintenance, most likely for the switch on for the i14 booster pack, fear not they should be back up ..................

Shouldn't we have been informed of this downtime? Been searching for an announcement for it but cannot see anything. I've rebooted modem and fiddled with my firewall thinking it was a problem my side....what a pain....apologies if there is an announcement but i cannot see 1 in 15 mins of looking on these UK COH forums.
There was an announcement (the usual automated one) in game, but yeah, there should have been one on the forums

I would have expected a forum announcement for additional downtime but haven't found one... so this just [censored] me off properly as I was so eager for some MA goodness :/
Ahhh well thats fine for people that were in game at the time 
I just arrived home from work - sat down looking forward to playing a few AE mission and found i couldn't log in.....at least i know its not a problem my end now.
As stated there was an announcement in-game but I can see your point regarding forum notices but if its like the valkyrie pack then it shouldnt take too long chaps.

Yeah, an in-game announcement is of little use when you can't access the game and search for info to determine if it's a planned downtime or something unexpected

The servers are up but I can't login. I can't access the EU CoH site, the game says there's a firewall problem, I've rebooted my PC and my router, I simply cannot access anything. What the heck is going on?
