You must have a source though, unless you pulled that out of thin air (or somewhere darker and smellier).
How could they possibly tell the difference between EU ones and US ones in the MA? The MA browser is global across EU and US servers (just like the BM and the WW). On the G4 interview Positron simply stated he used certain search criteria inside the MA browser to find arcs to play.
Unless of course the mission in question was written in, say, French - then if the Dev doesn't understand that language you could hardly criticise them for not playing it, as they wouldn't have a clue what to do. Even then it couldn't be called anti-EU discrimination because a French mission could easily have been written by a French Canadian.

Look at the what the bit you quoted was responding to and it's quite clear that the reference was to the devs not checking the EU boards and so not noticing any plugs in peoples sigs.
The MA may not distinguish between US/EU players, but the boards certainly do.
