Hamidon Raid - The Plan *important*
For the EoE hunt on Friday would you be ok with people who aren't planning on raiding Hami stopping by and joining in the monster hunt?

You could just use the second build as a Hami build or something? I'm thinking of making a ship raid build on one of my scrappers, but it does cost inf having the second build going I guess
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"
I will be there friday for the hunt
Oh and probably to ask some silly questions too

Yeah G convinced me to make a second build so now I have one with Recall... just with SOs tho, not sure I can face hunting out the IOs I got for the primary again :O
I'll ask my silly question now: as the blue team debuffer, does my character need to have some form of Fly?

Since now you can get a Raptor Pack in Firebase Zulu for 10k influence, it wouldn't harm having one
I can not make Friday's due to RL commitments. However I plan to be on Thursday night from about 7:30pm GMT for Essence of Earth hunts and any other temp power that may be needed.
If people wish to join me they are more than welcome to.

Good point, just aura and backless costumes would do, nothing too drastic needed.

The only spaces left are for scrappers, I think. You can see the latest sign-up list here, with the vacancies.

Firstly I'd like to apologise for being one of the people missing from the EoE collection on Friday, for some unknown reason I'd got that in my diary as 1pm on Sunday with the raid itself starting at 7... Oops.

Your job is just like the blue team. Go Hunt kill mito's

I'd would however like to note that this seemed to be rather wishful thinking. We ended up with only 5 controllers, so between deaths before reaching the target, terrorizes from the blues and being occasionally blasted across the jelly by annoyed yellows we didn't have enough mag stacking to hold a green consistently and stop it's regen. It was also raised in team chat that with the I13 toggle changes, would being held actually help? If so is end drain the only option in which case green team needs to be sappers and kins not controllers?
Just something to think about before the next attempt.

The i13 toggle changes only apply to players not computer controlled enemy's
Also turns out you need mag 100 to get past the mito's regen which our total lacking of controller green team couldn't hope to achieve. Next time ill have to be stricter and say controllers only and try and fit two trollers who have mez protection to share with the group.

Nice to know the changes weren't the problem at least.
Theoretically we could have just about got the 100 mag needed with just 5 but due to the predominance of /kins our main mez protection came from increase density - so no fear protection and we spent too long trembling; maybe we'll leave that job to an empath or thermal next time.
Well i meant to post this last night after the updated list was posted but my net connection died on me (thankfully after i updated the list).
Anyway the plan
Friday the 27th of February 7pm in PI next to Portal Corp i will begin the temp powers/ Essence of Earth hunt so if you are in need of nukes, shiv's or EoE then drop by.
To start things off we will try and form up in our designated teams for the hamidon raid so people can get familiar with their team mates once teams have been formed we will move on and farm the giant monsters nearby for EoE these are pretty crucial to the plan so i want to get as many of these as possible, really i want to get 15-20 of these per person by due to time constraints and the fact it is a bit tedious the most we will spend on this part is an hour.
Next we will move to Bloody bay and begin shivian shard hunting to ensure everyone has access to a shiv, once that is done we will then head to Warburg for bio and chem nukes but we need to make sure that no one attacks each other and steals they're nukes, of course during all this there are going to be some that want to ruin our work and try and kill some people off during they're nuke hunting, to those people we will just asking politely to back off if they don't then i can try and get together a team to keep them busy for a while
The Raid Sunday the 1st of march 1pm portal corp
To start off with we will do a half hour hunt for more EoE's in our raid teams the more we have the better, after which we will all go to the hive...
Well here we are the plan, simply put this will be a coordinated multi-strike effort meaning we are going to attack hami in several places at once.
When the area is clear and hami is spawned we will all meet on the cowards rock to start things off. when everyone is assembled i will then designate targets for the team leaders who will then act as target spotters for they're group.
Once targets have been identified we will then proceed with the raid on my count down we will begin as thus...
MITO ATTACK BEGINNING IN 1min BEGIN BUFFING YOUR TEAMS (CM, ID, ETC)!
.
25 SECONDS USE RAS/AM NOW TANKERS GET READY!
.
20 SECONDS TANKERS GO!!!
.
15 SECONDS SCRAPPERS GO!!!
.
0 Blue and Green TEAMS FOLLOW THE TARGETER IN...GO!!!
Just to explain, when i mention tankers go i will be looking at the tanks on my team for this they're job will be for them both to go in to the hami mito field and go straight up to nucleus to take the initial aggro once the other teams have entered i will have one tank return to me while the other remains to taunt hami until his Regen buffs begin to wear off, which means tanks you will need to keep an eye on your buffs too, when they start to flash type in the team window and we will begin buffing up the next tank and send him in to take your place after which we will tp you out.
Buffers on all teams
As much as i would like you to follow your teams in and apply constant buffage, i am going to have to ask to wait on cowards rock with recall friend waiting and watching the team from afar ready to teleport anyone that falls and bring them back to cowards hill for a rez. So all team buffers must have recall friend and a Resurrection ability so please fit them in if you don't have them
Yellow Teams
Your job is simple charge in a few seconds after the tanks and begin smushing yellow mito's, if your fast enough you should be able to take down 3 mito's before your EoE and regen buff's fail you, however i suggest that you use a temp jet pack or make a raid build that has fly so that you can actually fight the yellow mito's with a consistant DPS. Once your second mito is down check your buffs if your RA is still going strong try to finish off that 3rd yellow mito, if not pull back for rebuffing. After the yellow's are down your team will move on to green mito's follow by blues ones if there is any left.
Blue team
Blue teams job is to obviously attack blue mito's. There shouldn't be anything for the blue team to worry about due to the fact the total +regen cast by all the empaths and rad's in the raid should be more then enough to cancel out the DPS of the mito attacks as well as nullify the -end of the blue attacks.
Green team
Your job is just like the blue team. Go Hunt kill mito's
Nucleus phase
With all the mito's out the way we will All then attack hami from the opposite end the tank is on to make sure no one gets hit by his attack. Sadly for me and the dark defender and Trick arrow character we will only be able to get a few hits in before having to make a rapid retreat to the cowards hill to get ready for the moment of impending doom. I will be keeping track of hamidon's health bar at these points during the raid i will announce the following;
Hamidon health target is: 35k (75%) ... Team Recallers to the Saferock NOW please!
Hamidon health target is: 23k (50%) ... Team Recallers to the Saferock at 35k please!
Hamidon health target is: 11k (25%) ... Team Recallers to the Saferock at 20k please!
So that all teams will have quick access back to the rock after the mito respawn, of course after the respawn feel free to try and peg it back to cowards hill to reduce the amount of downtime for the raid as possible, we will then proceed with mass rez's once everyone is back. (yo mama is most likely getting a healing badge from this )
The respawn at 25% and Plan B
Being a rather cautious person i could say we could try plan b at 50% but i would rather get the mito respawn out of the way at 50% so we have less health to take down on the third try. when we take down the second wave of respawned mito's (from the 50% health mark) we will try plan B Plan will be as follows;
Plan B
After clearing the mito's for the 3rd time we will all go down once again to attack hami however saving our RA's and AM's for the moment hami's health reach's 30% after the aura's are applied we will then spawn all pets available and then proceed with mass nukes bio and chem and proceed to beat the living snot out of hami completely ignoring the mito respawn and going for the win.
Now if all goes well this time, then next time we will use Plan B for the 50% mark instead of 25 cutting raid time down by a considerable margin. and that's the end of that hopefully, i wont expect the raid to go too smoothly this time since it's our first try at this strategy but hopefully in time we can make this a once a month thing
I hope this read wasn't too long for you and i apologize for that but it is necessary that everyone reads up on the plan and informs anyone who hasn't to bone up on this, the last thing i want to do is to have to retype this all in game! 0_o
