two builds for sr

which 1 of these would be best for soloing an av

claws/sr for dps
dual blades/sr for the combos
or dm/sr for a good attack chain and the -acc

I wouldn't think claws/sr had the highest DPS
The combo's in Dual Blades are better for AoE than single target.
DM/SR is great for the self heal + capped defenses and would be my choice for AV soloing.

But if i really wanted a AV soloer, DM/SR. Not that i ever would make one myself.
Would sooner do DM/SD

I don't think the -tohit from DM applies to AV's, I think they are resistant to it, anyway, my choice would be DM/SR with Dark mastery so you can use the combo Smite-Siphon Life-Dark Blast-Midnight Grasp ad nauseam, the ideal combo would be Smite-Siphon Life-Smite-Midnight Grasp, but that needs quite some recharge on your build, but Fire/SR is probably the best bet for AV soloing except maybe Infernal and Envoy of Shadows.

For the above attack chain to work. Smite-Siphon Life-Smite-Midnight Grasp, you basically need perma-hasten levels of recharge. Possible but pricey
I have a DM/SR I'm IO'ing out for the above plus a DB/SR I'm also working on for AV stuff.

DM/SR solo's AVs fine, both the others owuld too if you proc'#d for -res and had lots of recharge. My DM/SR build only cost 350 Mil though and cant take down a few of the AVs

yeah i wouldnt until someone figure out softcap on shields along with permahasten and sufficent net gain recovery and enough hp and regen. BS/shield is nice however

There are a few bits on the us boards about softcapping SD, but from reading most of them, the trick is keeping it at softcap against the more difficult foes.

DM/SD seems to be quite popular over there, a lot of people working on them.

if i were to solo avs with dm/shield i want to run smite/sl/smite/mg that requires somewhere along perma hasten level of recharge. I would try to do it without insps so sufficent accuracy and overall survivability would have to weighed in as well. i keep running into end problems mostly when trying to make a build and enough recharge with softcap.
Hopefully someone will crack it while i work on my fire/sr.

ok shred apparently soloed shadowhunter in ~5 minutes with his dm/shield.

my fire/sr feels less tempting now
