Mutation: How about Extra limbs? Like 2 extra arms perhaps? OR perhaps pincers? After all we got the crab backpack. Replacing crabby parts with other appendages is not to hard to implement as the crabby part is already in the game.

Come to think about it: extra mechanical arms would be nice for the dedicated scientist as well. Like the scalpel mechanical arm or the welder arm that can double as blaster. You only shouldn't call them mechandrites.

Arms are out of the question, like I said in my previous posts (read them). Pinchers created in the same style as the VEAT crabs would be possible, but would take some work.

Arms are out of the question, like I said in my previous posts (read them). Pinchers created in the same style as the VEAT crabs would be possible, but would take some work.

There is a big difference between some work and a whole lot of work. But pincers, tentacles etc should behave almost as the current crab versions do. Put new skin on them and a lot of fine tuning. Probably still a lot of work but better then reinventing a whole new animation set.

I agree GG I have a lot of long haired Alts both male and female which would look better with animated hair.

Phantoms your very wrong extra limbs are entirely possible under the current game engine without need of reworking the models don't believe me just look at the crab spider veat's the have 4 extra limbs that are animated.

Also it wouldn't be the first time new tech has been tried out as part of a booster pack as the cyber booster made use of combat auras which are something new in fact booster packs are a great place to have new tech as

1) cool new stuff will get people buying and 2) your development costs are covered by those people buying.

As to what i would like to see in a booster pack i would love for the mutant one to have loads of mutations in it back tentacles ala kheldian squid forms, extra arms/large tentacles, mutant arm ala the robotic arms so you could mix them up a bit, big claws like dwarfs have and if they really want to push the boat out the ability to change the lower body for that of a snake or spider look (yea i know pipe dream)

I think we won't be getting extra arms, that would give us a single origin that could use dual-blades/shields... or pose the question of why we have redraw when we could simply have used the *other* hand while holding our sword in the first 2...

BABs already said that rather than spend time animating a third arm he'd prefer to do something less 'bat **** crazy' :P

adding extra limbs is easy. Making them animate is a completely different kettle of fish.
