Okay.. after 2 and a half hours of shading... I now have my hands covered in black.
BUT.. I've managed to finish Generlisk's request of drawing his char Liam with his niece Squeaky, where they would be having some nice quality time togethere.

I'm not working quickly either. I mean... this drawing..took me in total about 4 hours I asure you. (and I didn't work on it 4 hours straight ).

But it's now finished. Shaded and all.

I wish I had a bigger scanner...so I could use paper larger than A4 so I can work on details instead of having to cramp in every detail in one pixel (so to say).

The right paw doesn't look right..and the stars will be fixed .

Heya DD, Ercassiel's hair and lips are both much improved with the corrections you made and you did real nice on the fire boots and Witch leathers.
Amerikatt is off to a great start too... is she perched on someones shoulder like a shoulder pet?
If I might suggest something, the underside of her chin should be fuzzy and not a hard corner.

By the way, Fireheart, if I attacked the pigeons, then Pigeon Girl would have me skinned! She's usually a dove, except when her beloved pigeons are hurt. Then she becomes a fierce hawk.

On top of that, I kinda like the little fellas!

I think the human sidekick would be honoured! (and possibly have painful shoulders too due to sharp catnails *giggles*)
Question is... who's fitting to have such an honour on his or her shoulder?

I love the composite image with me on Caemgen's shoulder.

Amerikatt actually used to have a Human partner, who has since retired. As a matter of fact, that's why Amerikatt's costume is purple instead of the navy blue that most people would associate with someone whose name starts with "Ameri-". The purple is a tip of the cowl to Lee Falk's eternal crimefighter, "The Phantom", as it represents a long heroic tradition, spanning generations.

Of course, it's also true that red + blue = purple. The stars are pink because red + white = pink. Thus, Amerikatt's costume *does* contain red, white, and blue. ((This is the "official" explanation for her costume's coloring!))

Tough on the outside but a big softy underneath.

I always thought Caemgen and that little blue ball of joy and chaos would make a great crimefighting team and was secretly looking for an opportunity to sneak them both into an image... DD's question (and her sketch) lined up perfectly with that... it was too good to pass up.
