Shall I let you guys in on a little secret? *giggles mysteriously*
As of late, I have taken on a course to make cloths!
--Which is shocking as sofar any sewing machine I touched got messed up. I bend every needle I use (still do) and make myself bleed because I'm a master in piercing all the pins and needles right into my fingertops *giggles again*.
Nevertheless... I have been tempted alot lately to make a costume (yes, it started with the chainmail bikinitop ) and decided it might be worth a course.
Miraculously it seems to work!--

In between the studying of creating patterns and using them I have been practicing on the sewing machine to make a CoH related belt! Or the pouches at least.
This is what I got sofar (the belt is not part of the costume btw. It will be exchanged for a black one at some point):

My end goal is creating a complete costume, based on my character Darth Delicious`s clothing. Though sneakily I'm changing it slightly in-game to make it work irl .
For example, I gave her goggles, as it's impossible for me to wear lenses and I can't go without my glasses. So.. goggles it is! (I'll be creating an IC story for that some day). I think I found the perfect pair, which I'll need to paint to make it more Dee-like, like this:

And also Dee officially wears the Spine armthingies and gloves and belt... but I don't have a clue where to start on creating stuff like that. So... for now, the belt will change into the "pouch-belt". So mobile phones and other little stuff can be carried along.
I also have a pink wig, which will need work to make the hairdue more CoH-like.

When will I wear it? Never... possibly *giggles*. Or maybe, if I feel adventurous, on Fantasy Fairs or Comic Cons or... something like those.
I'm just having fun creating it!

Currently I'm working on her trousers (pants for the Americans reading this ).


I still had nearly new trousers lying around but they was too small for me. A perfect subject to work on! Soon it will fit *giggles*.

I actually didn't keep track of the time. But I think, including making the screenshot, only a couple of hours. 2, maybe 3.

*giggles* I'll show the complete outfit when it's done. If I have enough courage, I'll even post a picture of me wearing it, instead of my mannequin .

1000th post!

Wanted to use this one to show how far I came in a year with digital colouring, maybe to inspire starting artists.
The drawing is not CoH related, but it's CoH that got me drawing again, so I'm gonna share it anyway
