It's still... noticeable, I think the lip tone should be slightly darker, more towards (blood) red.

However, If I didn't know that the lips were an 'issue', I doubt I'd notice them in this image. Compared to your reference image, this drawing is brighter, better lit, and I like that... Actually, I don't think the shadow on Arthur's face would be so dark and dramatic, but, despite that, I like the lighting.

Eventhough I'm not allowed to participate in the FArt Battle... I do have the intention of drawing something for each theme.
Today I've been working February's theme, Valentine/Love and feel like sharing it. Well... part of it.

No... actually... I based them on Hasbro's Fairy Tails, from the 80s. I adore 'm!
I have over 30 in my collection!

This is the LoveBird set btw
Though Fairy Tails do have quite a disturbing line to go with them...Birds with happy endings!

So.. I thought I'd make a tiny little tribute *giggles* and add them to my February FArt Battle drawing I'm not 100% happy with their hair just yet... But I still have LOADS of time

Wow. I never bothered to look futher than the all-access part of the forums, because I'm a Free-Player (only VIP for one month to get the 3rd Tier filled) and wouldn't be able to reply on anything anyway, but boy oh boy did I miss out!
There is SO MUCH art on the forums.. I never knew!

The Fairy Tails are very cute. My wife will LOVE them, I'm sure of it! She has two or three of those herself.
Do you have a wallpaper sized version of it, by any chance? And would you like to share it?
I would love to surprise her with a Fairy Tail wallpaper on her laptop!

Yeah it took me several years too! I started out in the Roleplaying Section, writing stories mostly.

Hah, there is so much art to check out that I hardly have time to actually play the game anymore .
It will take me a lifetime to check it all, so I'll just do what I can .
No use in replying to all of it afterall. That would take too much time, I don't think my lady would appreciate me spending ALL my time looking at very pretty artz , though she can definitely appreciate what I've shown her sofar!

Which brings me back to the Fairy Tails.
