Talsorian weapons have nothing to do with Energy. Rikti weapons, sure.
Bad idea in general, costume parts should have no effect on our characters' stats. People should be able to look exactly how they want without being less effective for it.

The JRanger would be very happy to post on this. No from me, besides for some IOs you get "Chance for" which cost millions of inf and almost anyone can use a free tailor session to get these...so whats the point of them?

You give them colour coded underpants.
All shades of yellow, orange and red give added fire damage.
All shades of blue give added energy damage
All shades of black/grey give added negative damage
All shades of green give extra healing
All shades of purple/pink give extra psi damage
Etc.

Just something i came up with, the weapon customisations all have base damage types, so what if...
Talsorian/Tech weapons have added minor Energy Damage
Rularuu weapons have added minor negative energy damage
Nictus Broadsword has added minor Negative Energy damage
Roman weapons have added minor smashing damage
Thorn Blade has added minor negative energy damage
Nemesis Guns have added minor fire damage
lazer sighted weapons have added minor range and accuracy buffs
Sniper rifle has added minor range and accuracy buffs
If you can come up with more or your own please do
