Why not, makes as much sense as a stealthed person with a glowing sword.

QR: The whole point of this thread was to get the swords colour to stay the same, not to stay bright and highly noticeable like your all saying.

Bit dissapointed in the sarcastic responses this thread got 2bh, not one of you has given a reason as to why the colours WE (the players) have chosen should be changed when we activate stealth. Yes it shouldnt be bright and noticeable, it should be more transparant which is what stealth is?
Stealth means not invisible correct? Stealth means you are meerly sneaking up on the opposition, as this is reflected in game that if you get close enough to the enemy they WILL attack you since your close enough to be seen. ATM the colours on the clothes/auras stay the same (well the ones iv seen anyway) when you activate stealth but does not on weapons. The colour on the weapons CHANGES until you come out of stealth.

In response to "ooo look a flying glowy weapon all by itself . . . .. ahhhh its attacking!!!" comments . . . . . the weapon would be transparant/stealthed. Your a hero, youv mastered your weapon of choice, im pretty sure that by mastering the arts of being stealthy you can hide your weapon from wandering eyes without having to paint over it.

Also as i said earlier, stealth doesnt = invisible. Otherwise why do we have another power in the same pool set called invisibility that turns you 100% invisible?

Sorry about the rant but just thought 1 or 2 posts were a bit too sarcastic without any half decent reasons as to why. (reply was not to you btw Scarlet, was just a QR to avoid confusion xD)

LostNinja said it all. Don't expect any part of your costume to be visible during stealth.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, but since when does stealth conceal your entire costume?

Could just be me but isn't the point of being stealthy to be you know stealthy? Hell if I was stealthy except my weapons (glowy claws FTW TBH) I'd want my money back on the stealth...

No the problem with this thread is a basic misunderstanding of what stealth does:
You blend into your environment and can only be seen at close range, even if discovered you are hard to see...

That is not:
Your body body blends into your environment but the mobs can still see your weapons, and can only be seen at close range (except your weapons), even if discovered you are hard to see... even though the mobs have been able to see that giant green sword right from the word go.

And strangely I understand what the OP is saying, but have to disagree as the stealth power makes all costume parts somewhat transparent and its that transparency effect that causes your weapon to shift its colour somewhat. And like I said in my original reply, if you don't like the look lose Stealth. It does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Well stealth is meant to dim things, to make them and you harder to see, that's all, stealth for in game purposes = a cheap version of invisibility. However seriously yes I see what you mean it's not the dimming its the total colour change that annoy's you, I know some people spend ages getting a costume just right etc. But really its only ever going to be a temp thing so I think the Devs in general will have much bigger problems to contend with.

The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.
