Thing is it is people who on trials that need realistically to ask questions the most, they after all are the people we want to encourage to play, making whole swathes of the board inaccessible to them won't encourage them to stick around now will it?

Quite aside from the extra work that this would involve for the mods, whose definitions would be used to decide what is off topic in a thread? Take the Long QoL Improvements thread on the suggestions board, would people who posted things that most see as game changing things or things that they might like but aren't really QoL have their posts removed and be worried about being banned?

The only board that I can think that trial players wouldn't need hypothetically would be a board the only deals with content that they cannot access, however they still should be able to read it so that they can see what they might do in the future.

[/ QUOTE ]You mean that some players who haven't been playing for long (and you'd need to define how long you actually need to play to stop being considered a 'new' player) would in fact be cut off from a large proportion of the board until that hypothetical time when they are no longer new, that's really going to encourage peole to stay on isn't it?

This is a game forum that is for discussing the game and some limited connected items (Comics and Comic culture) why on earth would you need anything else here? If you want to discuss 'adult' subjects there is a plethora of other sites that cover such subjects in far greater detail, go join them... a lot of them are free too.

Here's the point you claim that you are speaking for the others who dislike the fact that people might not agree with them hence putting them off the forums, but in the same paragraph decry those who say that they speak for the masses. How is what you different to what you don't like?

TBH perfectly honest I don't see a great deal wrong with the current content of these forums even if the software is looking a little long in the tooth. But there will always be people who disagree with you, both here and in real life, if you can't accept that fact then there really isn't anything that can be done for you. And there will always be people who refuse to accept that they can be wrong. Me I know I am wrongs sometimes, though in this instance I rather feel I am right.

I like our current Forum. The people are nice, friendly and helpful. We share our ideas, congratulate each other on our achievements and even band together against those two random people who think they're better than everyone else and that what they say is law.

My laptop seems to hate me Alt tabbing between the game and an open web browser. It starts to go really slow. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a new computer. It's a far off dream right now. Have to pay for car insurrance and driving lessons before I buy one.
