You're not alone with that notion =(

I gotta go with you on that one, GG. The old Rikti raids were far more appealing!

I would say the web development staff are peobably working hard on new toys for us to enjoy and updating previous 'versions' has become less of a priority

Even just acknowledgement that the Hami Raid in its current state is inferior to the HUGE amount of enjoyment we all had with the initial version of the Hami Raid and that SOMETHING is being done about it would be enough.

( I am aware my nagging about raids is somewhat akin to early GG animated hair syndrome, but hey we're both passionate about feature implimentation )

Back to the original grumblings, I too would really like to see at least the dead links removed and that hero of the day picture to change! It just screams to the passer by/potential new customer of a dead/dying game with a web site run by lazy people.

If a whole new sparkly site is coming but details can't be mentioned, at least put a 'New improved site coming soon' message on it.

so true, I think a lot of people sent in city sights that were never even used, so there should be HUGE amounts of source material for community updates, there is plenty of news in terms of winter event, halloween event, issue updates etc that never even see the front page!

It's possible, Alphane, but I believe that if a new website is on the horizon, knowing that it was coming would re-instill some faith in those that look at the website as a sign of how much care is being taken.

K is hinting at something rather awesome . In the meantime, concerns of the OP noted and what I can say right now is that we're working on better things in the background. Stay tuned .

I don't believe we need fantastic, player-created content (but I'm glad that those that do want it are going to get it ) ). I believe we need more marketing, ads, pushes to expand the player-base, and finally, a stronger community.

[/ QUOTE ]

We need that because people who play the game want to contribute - and it gives us and you more content to actually play. It supports the community and it helps us to find out what you guys love - storywise.

Marketing: I think we all know and understand your concerns. We will do more when the time is right - and that time is no longer "far in the future".

Same old message really!! Been here for 3 years and all i really see is the servers getting quieter and quieter. When I started playing the servers were alive with playes with team invites flying around and other players. I can be in a zone now and not see anyone at all. What we really need is an influx of players. If it wasnt for the fact that I had all my 50s here not to mention my vet rewards and badge toons I would go to the americans.

I have friends that play on both that recieve better connections than to the EU. Less lag and all the same.

If we were offered EU to US transfer I would be gone. You wouldnt see me except for the golden trails of superspeed as I left to more population and more choice of servers.

I know this will cause up roar but would gladly accept having to change toon names so I would be able to get teams and play in zones that feel "alive"

Do they stay?

How many leave each week?

219 player at peak time is [censored] no matter what game it is!

There are new players turning up every week

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea take your head out of the sand and start looking around, might be new players coming each week but there are more leaving each week... But then again people who are on the game longer tend to see the differences, as you have stated you spend 1-2/7 on the game and semm to spend most of your time on the forum.

forumites tend to not realise the actual community side of the game and i agree with the last 2 posts. There may be new ppl everyday but how many are new accounts for new people or are they 2nd accounts?

Probably not. There was a whole thread about it and the general opinion was that you would be in a small minority.

i dont want to and shouldnt have to "alt" to get a team. Am i wrong in thinking that>

Posted

How about then if the option was added so all "us" DOOMSAYERS can [censored] off and leave all the rose tinted glasses wearers to their server without "us lot" ruining the peace and tranquility for you then?

I would imagine more than the few that actually post about moving on here would leave

Posted

Actually, when a thread starts saying that the servers are empty and the game is doomed, there are plenty of people agreeing, and a lot complaining about another DOOM thread.

When a neutral thread starts asking if people would move, most people say no.

Doomsaying is quite popular, so I think your assertion is false. However that's just my opinion. And I don't personally mind what you do or say. Doesn't disturb my peace and quiet at all.
