Mender Silo TF, soloable?

It's the first TF labelled thing I've seen that lets you do it solo.

So, anyone done it?
What are my chances with a Kat/Regen Scrapper?

All the Ouroborus TFs have minimum team size of 1.

And yes, I have soloed all of them. Mender Silos is very difficult though, not all ATs could do it.

A /regen scrapper should do ok though.

I really should do something about this signature.

Easy.

Have solo'd it on my Kat/DA, my Ice/Cold, and my Illu/Storm

So long as you're prepared for the AVs (or EBs, I should say), then you're in for some fun

Iv done it with my illusion/rad with the only problem being against the final AV (wont say incase of spoilers obv).

Without inspirations/temps? I would have to say a regen has next to no chance in the final battle unless your toon is insanely enhanced. With insps/temps then it is very easy doable

Cant speak for melee strategies since i did mine mostly at range and using areas to hide to block his attacks, but my guess would be to pop as many insps as possible and go to town on it before you run out of insps, his burst damage is just too high to be constantly beat upon.

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

I solo'd it on both my DM/DA and my BS/DA. The DM/DA had the advantage of a fully IO'd out build and had no realy issues. The BS/DA needed a bit of luck (about 6 in the end)

As stated above though, unless you have goond Res/Def and high regen it REALLY smart if you just stand toe 2 toe.

best thing to do is just give it a go, it isn't long.

Without inspirations/temps?

[/ QUOTE ]Why would you do anything without insps? I can understand not using temp. powers, they're either finite or take work to get, but T1 insps are practically free.

Challenge badges? Not sure if you get them on the TFs but I cant think of any other reason......

"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"

Yep, you get those on Arcs and Task Forces (just waiting for my next Positron to be 'Only AT powers, no Inspirations' ). Only thing that doesn't give them is single missions (i.e the badge ones)

Thanks folks. I figured I'd just give it a go sometime, but I didn't want to be stuck into a TF I was definately going to fail because some mob requires a ton of debuff or something.

I've actually managed this once soloing it with my Inv/Axe tank. That last fight took ages though I did manage to keep a few of the Freedom Phalanx alive to help me out!

Did it yesterday. Died once against Scirocco, but Citadel managed to stay alive and keep him busy while I got back and trashed him. Aside from that the biggest issue was keeping the 'team' together and stopping them getting left behind.

SPOILERS Ahead

Went into the fight with about 6 of the heroes, which was a good job since I had to jump up and down to try and hit the stupid Jade Spider and it would have been really hard without all that nice ranged damage.

Funniest bit was the fight with Manticore. With Ms Liberty, Swan and Mynx in tow, poor old Manticore didn't stand a chance! He was down to his last couple of hit points by the time I got into position to hit him.

If anyone is still reading, there's one tip I can offer. If you're freeing the heroes in the last mission, seek out the ones on the island early, and leave the ones guarded by villains to last. I figure you should be able to get the full compliment of Phalanx and Vindicators for the final battle if you do the freeing in the right order.

All in all, it was pretty easy really. Don't know what I was worried about.

I've done it with a fire rad troller and found it easy.

I did it by hunting out and freeing infernal first - he wasnt guarded by an EB and so freeing him was relatively easy. He will summon demons to help you. By the time I went for the first EB (who was Mako iirc) I had Infernal, Numina, Sis Pysche and possibly Swan on side (I think). With this team I was more or less unstoppable - especially with my fire imps helping. The key is to free Infernal (who summons) and Numina (who can Rez) early enough in the mission and you should be OK.

Ravenswing is right in the hardest part is ensuring that none of the heroes get left behind (although I had problems with Infernal and Swan getting stuck in the landscape - if that happens you have to leave them) but by the time the Jade Spider showed up all I did was use my debuffs and more or less left the npcs to do the work (with a little help from my fire imps).

In actual fact I found this TF a lot easier than the 5th Column/Council over throw one which was a lot harder - soloing Nosfartu is no joke!

Life is one big practical joke that we as the human race have yet to see the punchline to. Once you work that out the rest is easy.
