This has been discussed quite a few times. I usually do badge hunting or work on my char's background stories when that happens. Or I simply swap to a toon that might have more chances of getting a team.

Do a "wide" search and ask people if you can join with whatever you've got at the different levels/servers. Might want to make a note of what you got, I always forget. I also tend to forget what server I'm on.

If you're a Villain, then the evil side of things can be a bit quieter than the good side - plus, most people seem to say that the different types of Villains are easier to play solo than Heroes, so players who like to play solo are possibly more likely to play Villains than Heroes.

American servers are always more busy, as it has a larger database of ppl.
As Tommy said... playing solo is fine, especially if you are a Badger.
Stick with it though, as Defiant has a very friendly community! No doubt GG will be along soon to offer help and freebies!

Im both ive got a hero and villian. A Scrapper on hero and Curropter on villian.

Yes its got very quiet lately on Defiant, if your new to the game good luck finding a team. As players that have been around a lot longer have built up friendships with a few people so they can log on and have a team with 5 mins with friends.. 
So can say its gotten quiet, only 218 people online around 7:30pm last night and thats getting towards peak time 
But you still get people who say everything is ok, nothing to worry about.. So as we are use to being told things are going to happen Soooon!!... Yea right!!

Things have always been promised, something is always coming and nothing ever gets delivered. People come back when something does happen (in its rarety) but they only last until the new novelty wears off. Not enough is being done to promote the game and keep people here. Pure and simple
and they may be in teams but there are probally only 2 teams at most in each level range not to mention farmers that run multiple accounts that team with themselves.

Well, new content is important for attracting players, but I13 involves some complex stuff, so that's why there's a long-ish break between Issues right now.

On defiant (My home server). There are currently 139 players and on Union there are 228 players.
In comparison the forum has 61 people online.
Either merge the servers within the EU or let us transfer to the Yanks.
The mods have said neither of those are an option - if you don't buy an American account, you are doomed to a moderately populated hell forever .
