I just solo to do story arcs, if people want to live by paper missions then fair play to them. Don't need to nerf someones idea of fun when its quite possible your able to make your own team and seek the story arcs.

Just leave the team in a polite manner and start your own team. Xp is not factor in most situations, some like or find they are easier to fight than the dreaded CoT that to-debuff you to hell and back.

I think the problem (sorry if any of you have already pointed it, I haven't read all your posts) is the fact that most of the freaks come back to life, it's not only that you earn lots of xp if you set your reputation higher, as usual no matter the enemy you find, but also freaks missions are like playing Double XP all the time because of their resurrections.
Besides, they don't have any debuffer or buffer like Sky Raiders, CoTs, Tsoos, and so on.

Freaks only seem to revive 50% of the time. I'd hardly call that double xp all the time.
Besides, with the "rush on" attitude I see in most PuGs a reviving Freak tends to earn the right to carry that xp with the grief they can cause inattentive squishies.

I thought the revive was what made them so popular - you're right in that not many of them do revive, but I tend to find the bosses have a better than average chance, meaning you have more bosses in the mission than other mob types.

I like freaks...but I try not to concentrate on one enemy type, so I don't tend to get bored with them...apart from possibly Council (why am I playing through Striga again?)

Leave Freaks as they are, if you want to fight a different VG then ask her form your own team.
I must admit it does get annoying after a while
