If permadom's are considered a problem surely the most sensible solution is to stop people achieving it?
For the dual AT feel I still think the best idea is to grant a damage buff against non held targets.

WOO TG, im saying basically i dont think permadom is unfair as other AT;s can 3 shot me anyway, no need to get all personal.
Permadom doesnt make u god like imo as im still squishy as my point proved. to me i dont want to lose the mez protection that permadom offers, nor do i want to be choosing between damage or control of which is seemingly to be put forward in changes. I just want left as is as i already been nerfed with my only power up which is powerboost, whereas blasters have a few to choose from such as bu etc. So to get a grip? i feel is slightly going over the top there.
Im basically saying there is no ranged villain counterpart(AFAIK) that cud ever be compared to a blaster (e.g that can 3 shot very easily) and thats wat i think cud be classed as a little unfair and makes zonal pvp unbalanced as a result ( cud be wrong but thats my opinion and im entitled to it) now to wait for my firing squad :P
If they make Dominators Better then it could all be good.. As on the Whole Perma-dom is a nice way to handle urself in Zonal PVP.. and not everyone has the time or inclination to travel with an Uber buff team and just want to have a laugh

A solo blaster is just as vulnurable as a solo dominator to be honest only really skilled PvPers make a difference solo. Afaik i been in teams with dominator and corruptor where blasters died like flies.

I will disagree strongly here.Skilled dominators with support are terrifying in zones.Afaik dominators RULE US pvp zones atm.Having a high spike from a blaster is not enough to kill something considering the amount of support available to mitigate all this.
Its all down to skill and team skill in zones.There shoudldnt be any 1vs1 debate about this anyway because 1vs1 is not what the game is designed around but its all about teams.
As far as zonal PvP goes never had a problem with facing blasters in RV while playing villains.Plenty of tools to play around with to mitigate the spike.Be it res be it heals be it silence effects (cage).

Tough luck then because zonal PvP is all about teamwork.Sure u can step in it solo but the game is not balanced around this and shouldnt be anyway.
Stepping in a PvP zone solo is fine and dandy but dont expect to survive and the game to be balanced around that.

I was referring to the dual AT idea someone mentioned earlier, the old "what I cannot control I must destroy" idea is still better than poor controls/higher damage outside domination and good controls/lower damage inside domination, IMO. Anywho, not everything can be held.

Just been in RV team of 2 doms a thermal and a stalker.. on the subject of Dominators being overpowered..
We were minced by a blaster and an empath.. nothin we could do at all.. even attacking the healer did nothing and people have noted that dominators are over powered.. im sorry but thats [censored].. totally unbalanced
I mean the odds where in our favour on numbers but that did feck all..

This is really weird cause i was in RV yesterday in a team of Thermal (myself),Dominator (Loar),VEAT (Globey),Stalker (Shotta) against at least 3-4 blasters bunch of tanks Mother's Love in the zone buffing people a rad a bunch of random scrappers and some random stalkers outside our team.We had NO problem at all killing the blasters and anything that moved to be honest.We had no problem at all dominating the heroes and keeping them at their base despite yes taking the occasional casualty.

I didnt say anything like that and didnt plan to say but since u spotted the problem here i will have to say that even if they buff dominators to bring Armageddon in Paragon City when placed in the hands of an unskilled player powers dont matter at all.
My observation has to be also that if the thermal corruptor cannot heal against 1 blaster there is something SERIOUSLY wrong here.

My next toon to fifty I hope will be; Mr.TiggyWinkle: Plant/Thorns Dom. He is spectacularly vicious (albeit only level 25), I'm finding the combat frantic and fast paced he's going to need a little more time till he can enter RV.
Think I'll re-roll Evil Mumsie as a VEAT, rather fed up with my Mind/Psi Dom at the mo.

Depends on the thermal really.Good thermals leg it fast and come back in battle fast plus phase when they get primaried.By the time u get primaried again phase is up again.
