hi all FrIce has asked me to post this so you all know that you all know that people are after you account detail, before a redname posts it remember ncsoft will never ask for your password or personal details in email

Seems like a genuine NCSoft email to (or should i say "too") me You have committed a crime!! You shall have too pay!

Love the inconsistency "This action has been taken because we at NCsoft Entertainment take these sales" and then they later call themselves "NCSoft Interactive, Inc.".. So is it NCSoft Interactive or NCSoft Entertainment? Maybe we should send an email back asking them :P

Why are phishing attempts always plagued by bad spelling/grammer??? I have seen them about Ebay, Paypal, CoX and Autotrader and they never fail to be horrendously spelt. Do phishermen not use spellcheckers?????

Not sure quite how they use the secret question/answer challenge, but an automated online system asking for the answer isn't quite the same as asking for the answer in an email.

It's perfectly possible that NC staff never ask for the answer. It's also possible that they do it like my bank does with telephone password whereby they give you the question and then ask for two or three characters chosen (at random) from the answer.
