You don't really, read do you? They said we're getting it in Sterling Pounds and Euros soon (probably today). Also, it says it won't be used to pay subs or NCcoin.

The answer is in the text you quoted 
Support for UK £ and the Euro will be added today. I believe, though, that at the current time we will only be able to offer PayPal transactions to customers from the UK and Germany. We hope to expand PayPal availability to other countries over time.
With regards using PayPal for subscriptions, we can't currently offer this as PayPal is not compatible with the recurring billing system.
i was talking about future updates For the use of paypal as it a new thing as it didn't say and alot of discussion in US forum which i can't join is asking for this option too

That could just be the potential to make PayPal payments in UKP or Euro for US based accounts.
Using PayPal for EU accounts - a completely different company, financially speaking - wasn't clearly addressed by the quoted text.
So Forsaken's question was entirely reasonable.

Any chance you'll offer one-off purchase options instead of recurring then? e.g. buying a single month, or block of months as a one-off payment.
I dunno about anyone else, but I for one never leave recurring subs running on MMOs anyway, I'll buy a block of time and cancel the sub in one action, then decide at the end of the block whether I want to carry on paying.

Can you not purchase game time cards from the NCStore using this method? One way around the not using it for paying for subs issue.

Just had a look, and it seems like you can't.
But that would be a good way around it. Offer online time cards...after all, it's only the serial number that people need.
i hope we can link paypal payment options to additional slot and the other two rename token and server transfer
From my read of things, you should be able to. It seems to only be subs and purchases made with NC Coin that can't. Basically, anything you can buy on the NC store, you can now buy using PayPal, so the Wedding pack, GvE item pack, games, and other micro-transactions.

I think it was Eve who used to take my sub from Paypal, or one of the other MMOs I tried at some point (don't worry never let my subs from here drop just went inactive) and I found it a great way to pay. I'd certainly move to it if it became an option here

LotRO offered it for one-off-payment-lifetime subs, but not recurring ones.
MaX is right it was DDO, Sugar Rush is also right, not for LotR. Really thought it was Eve for some reason (just went through my archived e-mails looking for something else and figured I could check)
