Because either
a)the villains u saw are clueless about PvP and are the usual SC newbies that stay there because they know in lvl 50 pvp zones is where the big boys play
b)The tanker had them all taunted.
i take answer a to be honest.
In general tho target calling within experienced pvp teams starts from
1.identify soft targets
2.Prioritize based on importance
3.Check for lowest HP target
4.Call the target.
because they people who were playing them are great runners
Or are invisible to most of them.

tbh i play a lot of Squishies in PvP and yes u do get ganked first by ppl who know what there doing. My Kin troller in RVs is a face planting machine but if i get SB/ID on my team memebers i know that my job is done. and then u just have fun face planting all over the place :P
Target #1 are buffers and debuffers alike as these will cause the most pain in the long run
Target #2 Blasters and Domi (before Perma Dom) Khelds
Target #3 Scrappers, Stalkers, Brutes
Target #4 Tanks
u can switch between these but this is usually an unwritten law to PvPing in Zonal Areas or in team arenas
This is only an unwritten law. meaning not set in concrete
Is not going to remain VIP after Jan 14th 2012, but may remain an active Premium account holder.

This is not true with teams that know what they are doing.

Well in casual pvp you can play it by ear i suppose. I have been in pug in RV against maybe a few members of Vindi/Fata with maybe waaaambulance and another buffer/healer and even after repeated wipes and constant calls from me to target the corrupters my team repeatedly attack brutes or any other target first.
Pretty pointless really as they have zero chance of winning or even taking down one of them.
Maybe as most well played buffers will be extremely evasive the newbs switch to more static targets.
In RV i think i see villains with better target prioritys. Good job really as hero's now pwn villains buffwise.

Dont have to kill an emp to keep it out of the fight,some times just attacking and letting them use there heals on themselves can help swing a fight
try attack the empath vs an experienced team and see how long you are gonna live

we were talking about zonal stuff,dont see many teams there,but ythat being said, if you did attack emp and say your team was there im sure , as you said death would follow swiftly, but in that 5 secs ive just made you attack me and maybe saved the life of a player that could do more in the fight than i can

If villains get empathy then bring back the old Defiance for blasters and add it to the new Defiance please
I recentantly came back to COX after a long break.
i went to sirens on my mm was great fun except i see vills trying to kill a tank whilst a defender was healing him or i would see trollers having a free run in the zone.
Why are defenders and trollers not killed on sight?, IMO, these ATs do so much damage just by being allowed to debuff and buff at will , i was thinking its just me i havent played for a long time and game play has changed,perhaps other people could give some insight into thses strange events
