I've re-rolled my Storm/Psychic to a Cold/Psychic... seems to have really good synergy!
Snowstorm, Sleet, Psychic Scream and Psionic Tornado will have some amazing -rech going on!!!
The only thing I've found would be that it is going to be rather hard to slot all the power effectively... although I think it will be a rather fearsome set of powers for both PvE and PvP 
I was chosing between Cold/psi or cold/sonic, thats the sets really to chose between really(not saying ice is bad), sonic will stack -res nicely with the debuffs, but psy is the pwn with the insane range off the attacks, and the mezzes not to mention. And about the psi epic i dont think will affect a cold fender, considering when you have all the debuffs smacked on your enemy, that psi shield wont help much tbh.
The range of psi is a bit less usefell compared to the short range of cold/ though, you still need to close in to smack debuffs on em, thats the only danger for a cold corr or def. Once theyre debuffed you can abuse the range of psi, but same can be said for most other attack secondaries.
Think if i had to choose, i'd pick psi. Got an ice/cold corr I pvp with so got a fair bit of experience in that. Still the extra range on psi, more unresisted value and the heavy -rech make it better for pvp than ice imo. Even with the epics, there's still warburg if thats your thing

I made psi, just because it's a set I've not played much before.
Mostly, I never played it because the lack of aim bugged me, lots of nice -def in cold, so should work very nicely thank you very much.
Mostly, I'm looking forward to getting the nuke and heat loss. Even on a corruptor you can get enough +rec from heat loss with a few set bonuses to bust through a nuke's downtime, so on a defender, it should be pretty easy. I'll probably still take power to help with that. Even with the nerf, it still looks like a good set to me. Possibly that's 'cos I get very over-excited about Total Focus though, plus good smashing and lethal res will add nicely to the other res from arctic fog.
Anyway, all that aside, I already had the name I want, Strawberry Icecream just wouldn't have worked with any other sets.
Am going Cold/Dark but its mostly a concept thing doubt its going to be amazingly efficient somehow.
Cold/Psi is what I'd make if I was looking for complimentary powers

Well I think cold/psi should be good even with people going around with psi epic. Most people dont have sleep protection so will domination starting attack chain should drop Mind Over Body.. Just my thoughts

First thing I did after the new TF was make a Cold/Ice 'Fender in an overly cutesy pink outfit called "Strawberry Ice Cream", now I find out you've got one on the go with an almost identical name. 
I want to roll one can't decide between cold/psi or cold/ice
im more leaned towards psi only thing keeping me back is that people will be running more psi epic now because power boost nerf and because of psi blasters.
