Heh, that's pretty much one look I want but didn't really hope too much on. I think I'll wait and see if it makes it to live before jumping up & down with joy .

It's possible to have a cape and the Crab Spider backpack. A guy on the US forums showed some pics of his "Crab Spider" (which was in a Huntsman costume) with cape and the backpack.

It looked awesome

Link please?

I thought it looked horrid personally when I fiddled on test.

Look at it this way - you get more choices than any other AT.

@Jay Leon Hart
Kerensky: this has nothing to do with underwear
Zwillinger: I put on my robe and wizard hat...
Synapse: I had to resist starting my last post off with "Yo dawg!"

So I'm the only one that finds it funny that we're not allowing [X] due to 'clipping' of [Y], but the default un-helmed Widows' default Shado hair clips oh so obviously into the collar? And that is not 'unprofessional'?

I can see and agree with not allowing VEAT costume pieces to be intermingled with other costume parts. I can deal with that. But not allowing you to have helmed/unhelmed options is a bit weak..unless you use a little discovered bug, just seems a bit half-[censored], especially when you want to use your whole [censored].

They should just make it so you have a bar the top where you can select either Wolf Spider, Crab Spider, or Normal costume editor modes

it ALREADY is 3 separate costume editors anyway, it just hasnt been made to work with all the slots

It really is [censored] being able to have only 1 arachnos outfit, and Jay's reasons just sound like 'oh it's not that important really, too hard, forget it'
.. When I'm sure I'm not the only one who would have appreciated something like that instead of yet another cheesy time travel themed area

[/ QUOTE ]I'm sure while you may not be the only one, you're in a minority. Cimerora is a beautiful area and well worth the wait for Issue 12 alone in my opinion. Epic Villain AT's are just the cherry on this cake

Anyway, I think I understand (maybe) what they mean by a seperate VEAT costume editor. I presume its the same system that is used to create the arachnos armies we enjoy crushing so much. Obviously there have been some additions, since female bane spiders were unheard of just as much as male fortunata's were previously, but I can see how merging the two would be a mammoth task and result in a rather lumpy system.

I can only assume, of course, but they'd probably have to recreate most if not all of the items effectively in order to accomodate them with the new armours such as the spider backpacks. From a designing perspective, it would be a nightmare.

[/ QUOTE ]There are certain acceptable levels of clipping though. For example, a long skirt and a trenchcoat clip through each other at times, as does the long lab coat with a skirt. Something which becomes very obscured due to clipping problems, though, is something which just looks ugly in the end. I'd rather have a nice looking game than an ugly one for the sake of choice.
