I'm trying to max recharge so I can have permanently 3 LS, 2 FR and 2 Nados out. Do you guys think I can improve this build without changing powers (EPP could be changed)?

PS: I know this is ridiculously expensive but I will get there Earth/Storm is a blast and I shall spend all my inf on it if I must.

One way you could up the recharge is to find a home in a nice quick AoE power for a Force Feedback "Chance for +Recharge" proc.

Gale isn't a bad choice, since you have to pick it anyway. I went with Fissure from the Stone Mastery epic pool - I figured since I was going to be spamming it, it might as well be a power that did some damage! I went a little crazy on Force Feedbacks on my Earth/Storm - Animate Stone and Lightning Storm both got one so they can buff themselves. It's very noticeable on Stoney as he's normally more than a little slow with that hammer...

Fissure is the way to go with one of these alright, Gale is a good option too.

On the US Boards I notice they say Hurricane too but I'm not sure how it works, if its ticks once every 10 seconds hurricane is on or checks to PROC once every 10 seconds against every enemy being affected by Hurricane.

I have 18 procs in my earth/storm build including +recharge in fisure and LS/stoney and she farms like a dream.

Do you really notice it on rocky's attack speed? since it's only a small chance and only for 5 or maybe 10 secs iirc.

Achilles heel chance for res debuff slots nicely in earthquake. And Force Feedback only procs when hurricane is effecting something.

Until they fix it at least. Currently it fires every time instead of 10% as it should (decimal error?). And although the duration is short (5 secs) the effect is quite noticeable, at least if it's slotted in powers you spam a lot.

btw you can only have 1 tornado out at a time. the second one you cast will replace the first one...

It's 90% now. It's passing it's check 9 times out of 10 instead of failing it 9 times out of 10 (tested at some length with a Stone Mellee Brute using Fault on single targets). Bound to get fixed at some point.

Oh that's finally a nice bug

But I'm still wondering:

Does it really enhance Rocky's attack speed and/or just the speed with which he's recharged? And does the same go for the attack cycle of the lightningstrikes from LS?
I expect it only affects the recharge of the power itself, not the attacks speed cycle, but got some other signals from this thread...

And anyone knows how it works exactly in Hurricane? Like Carni already mentioned do you need to hit mobs with hurricane to have the proc do a check?

In both cases (and for all other pets as far as I know) it boosts their attack speed. LS fires *really* fast...

In Rocky's case, it's quite noticeable - especially when he's in Hammer mode. The 'quirk' with this proc encouraging pets to rush into melle is hardly a problem in his case, either!

I'm not so sure on this 90% chance bug thats being reported. I always see an icon when I hit but I was pretty sure that was the "I'm rolling to see if your PROC goes off" icon, not the actual "PROC succeeded +Recharge" icon.

It looks like a Howling Twilight icon I think, but only shows if "Show inherent powers" is switched on.

That said I've never managed to spot the "+Recharge" icon either so I've been a bit confused with it over the last few days

Try monitoring your recharge rate with the attribute monitor - it's rather easy to spot when it fires then!

Like I said above, the 90% comes from my own testing hitting single targets. Naturally with a chance that high you'll hardly ever see it fail to activate if you hit two or more targets since it checks for each one. Until I tested it I thought it was activating every time, but that was just because in normal play I'm hardly ever attacking single targets.

Just an FYI about the +Recharge proc.
It has about a 6 second(approx) suppression so it won't roll the dice for a hit in those 6 seconds.

It will roll after the 6 seconds is up so if you have 2 +recharge procs both will fire after those 6 secs

It is being resisted by any powers that give recharge resistance.(quickness is 1).

I see imo a few nice potential upgrades in this build regarding procs though.
I.e.:
-posi proc in stalagmites?
-GWE proc in gasses?
-no imped swift in snow storm
-no achilles heel in tornado

Those are easy to answer
Basicly i was going for max dmg hence the possie proc in stalag and the 2 hold procs in gasses.

Didn't put a proc in snow storm basically because earth is pretty end heavy and spamming immobs and holds for the procs to fire and running snow storm would be to draining.
Besides i have enough dmg there without it.

Tornado same thing .. max damage and using freezing rain for debuffs as its def/res anyway and its always up.

KB proc ? heh don't need one, everything is locked down already

Backbone of my dmg comes from Gasses or earthquake with stalag,cages spammed and freezing rain thrown in for good measures.LS and tornado are always used and quickly take down anyone left standing.
During a farming run i hardly ever use Stoney prefering to just herd with hurricane to a nice corner and just AoE the mob

Typical mob is QS,Gasses,Cages/stalag those not held,FR,cages,LS,Fissure,Cages,fissure = pretty much results in dead mobs.

Some is from testing with my Claws/SR Stalker which gets 60% +recharge from the proc due to the -Recharge res and timings with the 2 recharge procs she has so i have tested it myself.
