Epic Pool for a Fire/Kin

Forced Feedback. The Knockback one, I guess the % to recharge one?
[/ QUOTE ]Yup. Goes off most of the time if you use it on a moderate sized mob, and makes my psi 'nado charge really quickly! I can normally apply the buff again before it wears off! Lots of perma Hasten and IW at good value I found. Got it in Psi Nado and... brace yourselves... kick!

Although it seems bitty bugged, as it not always instant does the proc while doing the power you slotted it in. Mine is in Slug, when i fire it off nothing happens and sometimes 4-5sec later i suddenly get the recharge boost.

I can confirm this PROC is super, although I have it in Fissure instead on my Fire/Rad.
Cost me 4 mill though, but the salvage needed is cheap, and 4 mill is nothing to a Fire/Kin
My final slotting will be something like 2 Acc/Stun/Recharge, 2 damage/recharge, 1 damage IO and the Forced Feedback %Recharge PROC. Although I might change my mind and drop the stuns to see if I can get decent Acc, maxed damage & recharge and another PROC in there.
Fire Fire Fire
see, bal noes it!
i'd say Fire epic, you get consume for when ur tranfusion misses or isnt recharged, lots more damage and AOE, and a nice resitance sheild for some pretty handy IO sets
It's now Issue 21 and I am back!
My new Global is @Zyhar
Currently enjoying the Exalted Server!
Recently changed to Psi mastery. Make of that what you will, as currently I get near perma hasten for 4million inf...thats all im saying :P

[/ QUOTE ]Force feedback IO. Of course, it is a nicer IO for stone, but psi gets more use out of it (IW on fast recharge is NICE!)
I'd go for Fire Mastery, then when you hit 47/48, respec into Psi Mastery.

Sure perma EE is alot easier to achieve than IW but im a fan of my 67% res over luck Oh and agree with under control of course When leveling you dont want to wait 6 more lvls for your aoe

[/ QUOTE ]Def > Res IMO, but mez protection makes up for it in psi mastery.
Thats the case but only really for squishies in general pve, and as you state psi fills that hole if you got enough recharge

[/ QUOTE ]Def > Res for tanks too. And scrappers. And everything. Def is much easier to cap. Capped def is the same as capped res for most PvE play. Def also dodges debuffs and mez. So psi doesn't fill the debuff hole. I found that with psi as opposed to stone, I was squishier, even without using EE on stone. Both in combination with tough+weave.

Entirely depends what you're fighting.

Well 67% res is 8% away from capped for me and hell its less powers picks than if i was going for max def. Bare in mind I only really face one type of enemy on that toon, the extra squishness for me is not an issue because I can survive easily, the only hole that needed filling was mez protection

[/ QUOTE ]Actually, on squishies, capped def is BETTER than capped res. 45% def is roughly 90% res worth.
45% def means 1 in 20 attacks hit you. As oppoed to About half. So that's being his 90% less. 90% res means you take 90% less damage. Difference being that def is a bit susceptable to burst damage (Which is, to be honest, rarely an issue I found, especially because a follow up attack is unlikely with def. Weakness for res is you can easily get nautered with -res (though fire/kins farming need not worry) and there's the general debuff vulnerability I mentioned before.
Basic rule: 2res=1def, unless you start to mix them. Then it gets more complicated. I just prefer def to avoid annoying things personally. Res can feel more solid. But I felt solider with a def epic on Burn Spirit. Meh.
