((the mmb project: OOC planning for IC TF))

for those that don't know, there's been a bit of planning for an IC run of the lady grey TF from the tail end of the council of war.

Now, this is NOT a signup thread. Only way you'd get in this is personal recommendation from a key member IC. so don't get pissy if your shouts of "me me me!" go ignored.
(I hear "Ultranova"/"twilight shinobi" is organising a big mothership raid, so go ask him for details if you want to be involved with something.)



seeings as i've managed to lose track of who's confirmed to be in this, i think its best its moved out of PMs to somewhere we can organise a time.


so far we have:
1: Big Lunk (confirmed)
2: Doctor helios (confirmed)
3: Britannic (confirmed)
4: Coile (confirmed, i think)
5: Powerstone (confirmed)
6: Zortel (confirmed OOC)
7: <space currently reserved for "nightschild" when i manage to contact him IC>

so who can do what days? does anyone have IC connections to Nightschild? and any suggestions for the final spot?

personally, i can do any time, except next Friday through to Saturday morning, as im out of town, and if i decided to try and run a TF on Sam's old laptop, it'd probably kill it

If for IC reasons he's wanted/needed, surely a mercinary (Lunk) can contact a fellow merc (Nick)?

PS. What's the minimal level for this TF?
So I know whether or not my alt could be suggested by one of the confirmed members in case of a drop out...
lvl 35 is too low?

Nick IS a Mercenary, and a few people who already have his number IC are in the confirmed list. Just send an in-game mail to ask for a meeting sometime. Zortel and Coile both have his number and it wouldn't be too hard for Lunk to find it.

Consider this an OOC confirmation anyway.

Lady Grey TF is lvl 45-50.

BUT! It has been bugged so that a lvl 35 could join in on it IF sidekicked by a lvl 45+. I don't know if that's still the case.

(( Coile's participation depends on a lot of IC details. Would be good if Lunk and Coile could discuss those either IG or over MSN. OOC I'd very much want to do this TF but IC reasons might stand in the way.

As for times, I'm a bit swamped with some plans for the week. Without a hassle the earliest time I could do is this Saturday evening. If this is slated on some earlier timeslot I'll see if I can fiddle with other plans to accommodate the chosen time. That is, if Coile can attend anyway.

I won't think badly if I'm replaced with someone who is easier to fit into the overall plans. ))

Isn't Saturday when people at the Con are getting Bridger pi... er, saying goodbye to Bridger? If it is, I was hoping to be there. Its still early for me now, so will need to recheck when properly awake.

(( Coile is cleared for the mission IC, any sudden surprises before that pending of course. 8 PM English time should be ok for me. A later one is as well, if needed. ))

If we are looking at Saturday, 8pm or later is better for me too.

For reasons unspecified I'm on Heroic rep atm, tho I usually run on Invincible. What is the intended difficulty for this TF? I started it once and it was on Invincible, with nothing too hard coming our way. I personally prefer to have tough and uncertain fights to those I know I'll win hands down. ))

we'll we've got a reasonably well balanced team, we should walk over most things. anyone got any arguments against top difficulty? or one down, for that truly 'out numbered' feeling?

(( I intend to write an IC piece of this as well, but for now this escapade is presented in the latest Coile's recap. I have tried to avoid any spoilers about Lady Grey TF to retain the surprises that those not yet familiar with will be thrilled to learn of in their own time. ))
