PvP: New and advanced players guide (compilation)
Ok so i will get the ball rolling with some little things i found out while pvping
Blasters: Mobility, mobility, mobility. Your best friend and the first thing you will learn to do when pvping especially in zones.Being static with a blaster is like inviting people to attack you. So jumping around or using a lot of movement prevents those pesky stalkers landing their cream and butter AS or at least makes it harder. This little thing applies for Empaths and generally squishies in zones as well. For some reason tho only blasters have acquired the title of "Bunny Hoppers". Some of the more advanced players perform the art of "Bunny Hopping" in a pretty awsome way
Empathy (Defenders/Controllers): I found out that is pretty handy in zones not to stand in middle of a team trying to heal. It's better to keep a distance from your teammates having better awareness of what is going on at the spot where your team is but always try stay within range in order to be able to fire those heals fast. Most preffered healing in PvP is Heal Other and Absorb Pain while Healing Aura is nice and handy when you become the target. In high level PvP (epic level) Power Boosted Heal Aura can really save your life in some situations and keep you up and running.
Another Empathy quick tip is to try if possible and bind a lot of your keys to buttons especially your heals. Clicking in PvP can slow you down a lot. I tend to keep Heal Other and Absorb Pain binded to Q and E respectively but however suits your playstyle.
Bind examples:
/bind q "powexec_name Heal Other"
/bind e "powexec_name Absorb Pain"
These are just some of the basic binds
Inspirations tip:
A quick handy bind for inspirations
/bind 1 "tell $name, Green$$inspexec_name respite$$inspexec_name Dramatic Improvement$$inspexec_name resurgence"
I use this bind and for all inspirations respectively in PvP and is a life saver. What this bind do?
Basically this bind searches for inspirations in your tray and executes the Green inspirations in order of effect. Since this bind executes from right to left arranging your inspirations properly allows you to use the large respites first when they run out it uses the smaller one and so on.
This bind also sends a tell to yourself for a key press check so you know you are using the proper button.
You can simply replace the names for the other inspirations and do the same for all inspirations
Thats all for now will post some more later
Empathy: Watch ppls status bars as much as possible. the symbols for attacks will flash up just before they are attacked so u can get there quicker. just click on ur target and press f
Tanks: Take Taunt
Scrappers: Take Taunt

Can you also please ellaborate why and some reasoning behind this? A simple do this and do that hardly stands as a tip so some people would need some explanation behind the concept or idea of the tip
melee attacks: if u press f or ur target u'll continually chase them without actually getting close enough to hit them, if u hold forward and then press f while still holding forward u'll run into them for melee attacks.
not sure if its an obvious tip or not lol

It's funny cos it's true...
Tip for mace tankers in PvP: Take clobber so you can occasionally inconvenience enemies who lack mez protection.
Also, opening with Jawbreaker on characters without knockback protection can give you enough time to knock some more hit points off them before they can escape...
Defiant 50s: Generalissimo, Righteous Bob, Splortch, Brutus Cayuga
Union 50's: Chimera Obscura, Diet Anthracite, Grim Proctologist, Puny Little Minion, Raging Bitumen

I'll second that one.
I like the powerset but it is really hard to work in pvp (well for me anyway).
Ok so i am working to put together a new players PvP Tips List for CoX as well as some tips that apply as players move up in PvP skill.
So how this works:
Feel free to post your tips below but try please to specify for which AT the tip applies to unless it is a general use tip.
Dont hesitate even the smallest thing can prove useful to a new player or an advanced player. Feel free to post binds you find useful, small build tips, zone or arena tips or just general guidance that will help people around.
Remember if you are posting regarding a specific AT please specify which you are speaking about. Lets try and make a list that might be useful to some new players and maybe some old ones that are taking first steps in PvP
Thanks
