Fire/Dark Corruptor help plz !
you've picked a really nice combination (as you said, tar patch/rain of fire).
From fire, avoid flares the rest are free game. From Dark you could put darkest night off (its good but end troubles to beging with and its quite heavy). Fearsoem stare is an excelent power and I advise taking it as soon as you can (20/22 depending on stamina). It'll probably be the best thing you've got to open on a group. Fear -> Darkest night -> Tar patch etc.
Sicne you're goign to be an agro magnet definatly get shadow fall quite earlie and maybe consider the leaping pool for the extra defense in combat jumping (and later maybe acro).
Only took mine to 30 odd but definatly really fun to play and great at both nuking and surviving. I found Rain of fire and fire ball wasn't enough aoe so I ended up takign fire breath too which is a good power (just roots you :/).
Definatly avoid flares and maybe black hole. The res is optional but since its a mass res it could be handy and its a auto hit disorient. The sniper attack you could avoid if you need space (with allt he aoe you'll only be needing weak attacks to finish things off).
Fire is all about AoE goodness. Ice is awesome too tho. You get a couple AoE powers (Ice Storm, Frost Breath and Blizzard) , excellent ST damage and 3 holds (Freeze Ray, Bitter Freeze Ray and Fearsome Stare).
Besides, Ice Storm works better with Tar Patch than Fire does. Why? Cuz it stacks slows, making it impossible to run away from that deadly patch.
I'm actually trying to figure which combo to play (Fire/Dark or Ice/Dark) and I might eventually go for Ice, just cuz I love Blizzard + Tar Patch.

I agree with most of what Arika said except I would recommend getting Darkest Night asap. It's quite end hungry, but it's your main debuff for a while (along with Tar Patch) which allows you to play the "herd and burn" game of fire/dark early on. It's really a very nice PvE combo which blooms very early, although you won't reach the damage of a fire/kin in the late game when soloing. My fire/dark is one bar from 40, and the powers I skipped were Flares and Blazing Bolt from the primary and Black Hole from the secondary. Definitely take the fire attacks quickly (especially the AoEs) as well as Darkest Night, Tar Patch, Fearsome Stare and Shadow Fall and Aim somewhere in the 20s. Howlight Twilight is nice to have, but can wait until later, and likewise for Petrifying Gaze. I went for Hasten/SS which allows me to ghost and is very nice for herding large maps with DN. I guess CJ/SJ would work well too. For -kback I slotted an IO in Shadow Fall. Endurance can be a bit of a problem so I would certainly recommend getting Stamina. I now have quite a bit of +recov from IO bonuses, but still run a bit low sometimes so I even plan to take Mu Mastery for Power Sink. I found the mid-30s a bit tricky since you often end up generating more aggro than you can handle, but once you get Dark Servant and slot him for Tht_Debuf, things become safer again.

Hmmm I think i will aslo Run a Fire Ice Now, Mainly Because i will be doing alot of PvE Untill 35++ To level up & I will need to look after my team m8's & i'm thinking eventhough Fire does deal more power i think Ice would have been better choise Mainly beacuse of the Hold & Slows & Combined With Tar Pacth Ect I think Ice Dark Will be a Good all rounder later on?
What do you guyz think?
And if you have any Build to level 20 for Fire/Dark & Ice/Dark can you take time & Post them. I will be very greatfull, just post what Power's to take & not to Take & why. I can Solve the Enchencement Slotting to suit my own need's.

Drifting away a bit from your original thoughts by sharing some new inspiration; but you ever thought about a fire/cold?
You'd be pretty much a pioneer (which is fun in itself) and playing an imo very promising, strong combo.
A heavy (AoE) dam output primary reaping great rewards from scourge with it's many added DoT that on the other side is being balanced by lacking any form of damage mitigation like mezzes or any secondary debuffs. (just the scattering and slow from RoF)
This paired with and very smooth playing AoE rich secondary powerset having awesome both AoE and ST debuffing (-def, -res, -recharge and slow). 5 powers that range from at least good to excellent: infrig/sleet/benumb/heatloss) and the excellent +HP buffing Frostwork.
[Though on a sidenote imho Heat loss should get a moderate boost to it's recharge to make it go from good to totally awesome -as of the category Fulcrum Shift- because atm it sadly recharges as slow as a nuke.]
Add to these forementioned qualities damn good utility (snowstorm, arctic fog -including resist to slow and sleet), some decent shields and a big recov buff and res debuff from heatloss.
To me this seems like brilliant material opening gates to sheer AoE heaven.
It also offers very good ST debuff/dam/buff with undervalued very effective AV/hero smacking potential. Works great in teams big or small as well as solo.
From all the many different corrupter combo's a fire/cold has honestly been on the top of my personal shortlist since a long time now. (Btw regarding the concerned sets I have a ice/cold at 50, a fire/dark around lvl 40 and played ice/dark till in the 20's before deleting it- due to the combination of lack of slots and new ideas )

Gah, reading these posts does no good to my altitis, at the beginning of the thread I was decided to roll a Fire/Dark, then a Fire/Ice and I ended up rolling an Ice/Cold corruptor.
It's very much up to personal preferance of course but I enjoyed my fire/dark infinitely more than my ice/cold.

Tbh, the only reason why I discarded /dark is becuase I already have a dark/dark and a dark/archery defenders, so I went for Ice because it's a powerset I never used.
This is going to be my first corruptor and for now, I have many toons waiting to be taken to a decent level (let's say 20ish). If I manage to do that, Fire/Dark is definitely on the list together with the new upcoming Scrapper sets.

As i am Low level ATM. Did i pick a Good build because i was going to take Fire/Kin??
But i thaught with Tar Patch I can hold pach with i Fire off Rain of Fire, which is an agro magnet i know lol.
I was also thining Ice/Dark Good All Round PvE team Build.
BUT! As far as i am aware Ice is the weakest Attack??
