If you dont take Charged brawl and Havok punch I dont see the point of going /elec

Hmmm that's a different point. If i remember what i read correctly, Fire is the most team friendly blaster, right? As this one will be in team maybe i better do as Fire/Dev? (Don't tell me Fire/Fire, my bro has that one and will probably mock me for imitade his toon)
Everybody thinks that much when making a blaster? Choosing and building a blaster is very hard. Maybe i better go with the cheesecake of the millenium and create a Fire/Kin or Fire/Rad controller 
And here is the end of the story.
Blaster n00b guy makes a Fire/Nrg blaster and his jaw drops because of the insane damage. Forgets about others and wants to keep his Fire/Nrg. 
I sincerely thank everyone who sends advices, comments or ideas. Thanks to your efforts i'm understanding Blasters better now.
If you say Zumrud in game send her a tell. (This is one of my rare female toons. If i don't make some females V6 will be a boy-harem)
Fire/En is quite nice due to getting Build Up really early on. Just bear in mind that Power Boost won't affect DoT.

OMG she turned into a monster. 
Yeah being a blaster is both a blessing and a curse. First good part. You can kill things faster than you blink. But after a time it's getting boring. Why boring? Because you know everything will go down with your next blow or the second one. They don't have finesse of controllers or defenders(But still my highest blaster is lvl 10). And IMO their inherent sucks. I think they must change it something like Brutes using.
If i gather what i want to say. Blasters are fine but better in groups, especially fire ones. If you need utility this AT is not for you, if you are regular controller or defender player you can easily find blasters dull. Fire maybe have the highest damaging attacks but most damaging nuke belongs to Ice Blast set. If you have a regular group, if you like to blast things and if you want to simple play with ranged attacks here is Blaster AT. People expect you to do most damage, so don't hold yourself back. As you get higher in levels more enjoyment you will get.
Thanks again for people in here for guidence and making me know what is a blaster and for Dante to gave me a chance to be a blaster. (But still i won't get Rain of Fire )
EDIT: Checked my build. Maybe i can get Rain of Fire instead of Total Focus.
Rain of Fire is a lovely power but in my opinion it comes too early in the power set. To be effective, you really need something holding the aggro, be that a Tank, a Controller or a slow power like Quicksand or Tar Patch.
I find that being a Blaster is taking that thrill of being able to cause massive damage on an epic scale. Once a mob is held/immobilized etc, hitting Build Up + Fireball + Fire Breath pretty much means that there's nothing left standing other than the bosses. And once you get to nukes, well, they're a whole bunch of fun in themselves.
As for utility, some Blaster sets have some great effects. A higher level Elec/Elec for example can dive in with the tank and rob the mob of all its endurance. An Ice Blaster can slow foes down to a snail's pace. Fire sacrifices the utility that other sets have for extra damage (DoT). But on a good team, people will love you for upping the DPS to an incredible rate. Just don't go believing that thing about Blasters always faceplanting, it doesn't have to be true!

After seeing the damage of tripmines yesterday in a team, i definiatly stick with sonic/dev
