You've already got me down for it (apparently), so I thought I'd just check in. I've done the TF before, but remember, it counts towards an SG badge (you get the Rikti Plasma turret if you finish the TF five times).
As for the missions - it's a breeze, 'cept for the AV. He's a TOTAL git. Mind you...he's about ten stories high, too. IN typical blaster fashion, I would suggest bringing Shivans. Why? Because we wound up with a team of seven, we STILL had a healer, and he ate us for breakfast. Outnumber the bugger, and he's mince.

Trouble is it would also be too dark then, to paint the house I mean...and the last thing I need is the police coming around, to arrest me for drunk and disaster painting!

Off topic, I see Aero's tank in Onion is lvl 25 and I have a Dark defender there at lvl 27, you guys are planning on going for TF Commander badge in Onion? I already got Citadel and I am currently working to try and get Ernesto Hess as a contact for Burkholder's Bane (I know that one is not required for Accolade but is good TF although DXP may have done that quite difficult).-
As for the SG badge... you know, I'm not sure.
However, thinking back - when I first ran this TF, I wasn't in SG mode...yet our bar has registered one chunk, and I think I'm the only Guardian to have done it... so I think it's safe to say that you don't need to be in SG mode for it to count!

Actually I'm quite open to playing Solar out of character. Just can't do Wednesdays as that is RP night - anything else and I'm game!! This is not a necessity, but perhaps I could do TFs that I've outlevelled with you, so that I don't PL ahead of my RP teammates?
That ws a nice TF, more on the 6 hrs side than in the 4 hrs, but great team and great fun. It is the second TF in a row that someone gets the unique recipe from Numina's Convalescence, at least now I know that that recipe truely exists and it is not a myth!
Gtz all and looking forward to repeat this TF, it has been by far the best on inf and drops until now.
And on the plus side - repeat it 5 times and you get the Rikti cannon-thingy SG base piece! I agree - great fun - made all the more funny by our persistant little coffee-house friend (who shall remane nameless for fear of breaking the EULA/board rules)!!

A bit about the TF:
"The Saga of Lanaru"
Contact: Faathim the Kind, The Chantry, The Chantry
Level Range: 44-50
Team members required: 8
Estimated time to complete: 4-6 hours
Enemies: Nemesis, Rularuu, Circle of Thorns, Malta, Rikti, Praetorians, Lanaru
Notes: Lots of different enemies to face, but nothing you wont have faced before. Most of the missions are on small or medium sized tunnel maps.
Bugs: The glowies are invisible, and this bug is compounded by the fact that they are 4-way simultaneous glowies. Listen carefully for them.
AV: Multiple AVs in this one - appearances from Mother Mayhem, Malaise, Nemesis?, Baphomet and Lanaru. On the off-chance you haven't faced them before, a quick summary:-
Mother Mayhem and Malaise both do psi damage - if whoever is tanking them has no psi defence/resist, they're going to need some serious buffage/healing. Neither have brought their minions with them - instead they have hypnotised some Nemesis into working for them. Nemesis? is exactly the same as every other Nemesis AV. Baphomet is the Envoy of Shadows with a different name, essentially - an overgrown behemoth overlord who does fire damage. Baphomet gives you his badge when you defeat him (Demon Slayer), though that may not be working as intended.
Lanaru is surrounded by two rings of enemies - an outer ring of elementals, and an inner ring of rularuu. Clear the outer ring with aggroing anyone else (easy enough), then have Lanaru tanked while you clear the inner ring.
Lanaru himself has storm powers - Hurricane, Freezing Rain, Lightning Storm, that sort of thing. On top of that, he can summon Storm Elementals which can do serious auto-hit damage (fun for the defence-based powersets in your team). However, as long as you can stand up to this, he actually goes down pretty easily. I recommend blasters, defenders and controllers stay at maximum range and attack while the tank tanks and the scrappers divide their time between the AV and the elementals when they appear. Ice tanks and SR scrappers may want to use this time to make a cup of tea.
