Invention Worktables
And further to that, if for example they need to go in a workshop will they be allowed as an addition to the number of work benches or will they use up a workbench slot, for want of a better way of putting it
tbh i think (as ive not got that far in test yet) its gonna be :-
for bases i expect it'd be the same as the worktables you have already, which means larger room to incorporate the extra table or make another room. i also think the power/control useage (if any) will be the same as the other tables, as they are in essence the same. also same room types as other tables.
as for outside and where to be crafted from. i expect still from uni as its "invented" but only placeable in base (related to what u can make, i.e. the base version/outdoor one or both)
but thats a guess as like i said, not got that far yet
If I can remember correctly my results from test were:-
Both items appear under the workshop tab, in tech & arcane.
Personal storage locker, cost 100000, uses 10 control & 10 power. I could place it the workshop, control & energy rooms. Did not count towards any worktable limit, but the amount I could place in each room varied.
Invention Worktable, cost 25000, did not use any control or power. I could only place it in a workshop & it counted towards table limit.
(Just to note these results were on a secure plot).
Hope this helps.

Yes nice one for all that
You're forgetting the most important question of all - do they make noises and have flashing lights?

Yes.

If you have nothing useful to say, you have two choices: Say something useless or stay quiet.
I sure hope so - I filled my generator room with those jacob's ladder things just to get more noise - you can never have enough noise and lights in a base

No noise and lights are absolutely vital, especially if the lights flash or pulse or better still do both
And beeping - beeping things sound active, even if you're not quite sure what it is they're doing

Yes beep beeping gadgets are the best, and if you dunno what they do thats ok too, you just need 3 of them in that case to make sure whatever they supposed to be doing, they doing it properly and often enough

Me and the Smurfs FULLY approve of GG's love of flashing and pulsing lights
Don't they need to be associated with a display which seems to be counting down and will trigger loud klaxons throughout the entire base at some point.

Hope you can fly then. You'll also need another alarm to signal if the base is affected by some -fly power.

Nope, your base is all on one level as is everyone else's - but that doesn't mean its the same level - in any event you still want a floor and probably a ceiling as well, although I believe there may be one or two in Overbrook currently lacking the latter - not many flashing lights and impressive noises available in them though.

We just need as many flashing lights , buttons to press , clickys to click and claxon horns as possible in as many rooms as we can fit them And multi floor bases cant come soon enough so we can fill them with the same

Are you mad i get lost in are base now on one floor its so big
Aesthetically, I'm looking forward to the storage locker. Our workroom is kind of the centre of our base (granted, with have a computer centric 'control room', and a 'meeting room' with a large table...but the workroom is where most SG members spend their time...). With salvage, enhancement and inspiration storage, along with both 3rd tier power buff stations, a small locker to give it a little more of a 'personal' tough, works nicely. Very ghostbusters, in fact, lol. Place that next to the display cabinets of weapons...are the joy of enjoying one's base.
Slowly, CoH is putting them to better use...

Worktables:
Worktables allow players to invent Enhancements, Costume Pieces or Temporary Powers, if they have the appropriate Recipe and required Salvage.
Players can invent any item that they have the materials for - they do not need to be able to use an item to create it.
Worktables are found inside Universities, and can also be placed inside a Supergroup Base.

Notes taken from latest test notes.
Just a quick question regarding Base Invention Worktables.
Was wondering what room they go in, the cost, power requirements etc and are they to be crafted from exsisting SG worktables, before they can be placed ?
