Hey there, very nice . Gorgeous hair, and I like the expression on her face.
The pose then, there's nothing wrong with it artwise, the drawn back hand especially is hard to do and you aced it. The only problem for me is the reality of it, if you pull back the string that much, it's going to go through her other shoulder (as it looks to do in the pic as well), as well when she lets go of the string, it's going to lash against her arm (because her arm goes "through" the bow.)
Anyway, that's not something most people would notice, I bet. And it's a cool picture. /cheers

but in reality you wouldnt draw a bow string towards your body, but alongside it.

It's always surprising when a piece that I don't consider some of my best work ever is so well received. I suppose being too critical of what you create can slant your view.
Sorry about going so long without posting here. Have been in a pretty bad mood and haven't felt up to posting much.
I meant to comment about this pic but Blackdove summed my thoughts up pretty nicely.
One thing I have to say is that it has this lovely soft coloured feel. Nice and easy to the eye with no aggressive colours.

Reason I'm posting it here - beside getting feedback - is that considering turning her into a CoH character, as well.
That's Utaku Mayumi, as the gallery entry says.
Since I never get on with blasters at all but I like this character I figured I'd make her an archer in CoH and see if that could make me stick with the AT longer than level 3. Shame there's no swordy secondary. Or is there? And I'd probably have to drop the ponytail and go with wedge hair.
If anyone has recommendations as far as recreating her or comments on the pic, I'd like to hear.
