Greetings Watchmen! The time is nearing that we will reach level 20 (if not already!) - has there been any decision made on our "uniform"?

As level 20 is going to see the resolution of the Rivera plot it would be good to have the costumes ready. We could all walk out of the Bunker in our matching uniforms, in slow motion of course, to our showdown with the Big Bad.

I am Tabitha Guest, a former student of Dr Milo Symmian currently working for Crey Industries.
I have bad news. Last night the former laboratory of Dr Saule Grian was raided. I believe that Dr Milo must have confronted the perpetrators as he has vanished. All the electrical equipment in the astronomy lab has been rendered useless by what is believed to be an EMP weapon. I can only imagine the offenders were aware of Dr Milos condition and used the weapon to attempt to kill him. My only hope is that he was able to assimilate with the universitys computer network and is resting there until he is strong enough to return.
I have seen the CCTV footage from last night, and Dr Milos friend and colleague Dr Trevor Seaborn has confirmed that one of the party was Penelope Suarez, better know to you I think as Penny Black.
I have accessed the campus securitys report of the incident. It says that only a piece of meteor rock (labelled Hyperion 7-10) is confirmed to be missing from the lab.
I will report to you again when I have information.

Darn it - Union being down kinda scuppered our plans last night didn't it?! I won't be able to attend next week (as far as I know) as it's the final rehearsal for my concert on the 19th. I'll be on during the week/weekend though if anyone would like to catch up and confirm uniform issues. I'm still rooting for my design (no bias honest!) with a revised head (design to be confirmed), which - if we do go for it, I will post a list of the exact costume pieces and colours that go into creating it so that we can get that cool uniform look!
Yep, it wasn't the best timing.
I'm all for your costume as the SG outfit, perhaps with a nice trenchcoat added?
Also, Aero, check out the Watchmen's own forum via the link in Gorabz's sig, there's a lot of plot stuff going on there that doesn't make it onto our threads here.

Not sure about the trenchcoat - maybe a little too far personalised from the uniform idea? I liked your version pictured in a prior thread, with the centre of the star and the ampules coloured black (your personalised colour). Also, the contentious mask design would, i think, look best as the half-mask you used in that pic also. I may be able to get on tonight, will try to wriggle out of this final rehearsal I'm supposed to be attending - so hope to see you later! 
A few things:
There is one, soon to be two, forum roleplay plots running on the Watchmen site. Everyone is welcome to take part. The Watchmen have made friends and allies throughout Paragon, and anyone with a character not in the Watchmen SG who wants to register and get involved is more than welcome. PM Romanov or GoodGuy for details.
The "A Bad Penny Always Turns Up" storyline will lead the Watchmen to wearing an SG uniform, so Aero you might want to join in as you designed it.
Last night was fun. I thought it would just be the two of us for a few minutes, so when seven people were suddenly showing on the SG window it was great. Good to see we are still going strong after three months.

Is everyone aware of the Double XP long weekend coming up on Union? Are we going to meet and capitalise on this? Solar is my only toon on Union at present, but I know others may want to use the chance to level up some of their other toons.

I can't be on tonight. It grieves me to miss the "costume and cape" ceremony but I just can't play tonight.
Please post a picture of the costume so that I can get an accurately cut suit myself asap. (Please remember that I've "booked" the brightest yellow to be my personal colour)

One of the threads in the A Bad Penny Always Turns Up forum rp is intended to show how and why the Watchmen have an SG uniform.
So, I know this is a big ask, but if people can resist wearing SG costumes for another week I'd really appreciate it.
*Tonight, we are scheduled to meet representatives of the Militia to see if a coalition would be beneficial to both groups. I forgot it was the Champion's League final tonight so, maybe we should just have the meeting tonight and have a mission-fest on one day over the weekend.

I've come to the realisation today that I'd like to watch the Champion's League final.
We have three Watchmen who will be afk tonight for other reasons, so I was wondering if we should postpone a big group session (quiet at the back) until the weekend.
Of course those who are on tonight can try and get to level 20.
I've contacted the Militia to postpone our meeting with them. I'll post a new date n time asap.

For the sake of consistency and accuracy, I will post a list of the costume pieces that make up the uniform, and the colours so that we're all matching save for our personal touches. I'll do this when I get home tomorrow!
There is a picture of myself and Bastinado in the uniform on page 16 of this thread (disregard my head design - am going for a half-mask.) The areas that will be coloured - player-specific, are the ampules on the belt, and the centre of the chest emblem star. For example, Bastinado's are black, mine will be orange or tanker grey-blue (undecided!).
We will be doing the Sister Psyche taskforce on Wednesday evening. We'll assemble in Independence Port between 7.30pm and 8pm (UK time).
Please post here or on our forum if you wish to attend as if we need more people we with open the invite to our coalition friends in the PCP or Militia.
You'll need to be lvl 20 and wearing your new SG uniform.

You all have been super great to me since I joined you lot, and I've learned so much about super-powered life in paragon, as have we all, really. So, I'm super excited as I write this (you can probably tell!), because I'm taking another turn on the great road of life. Carl and I, we're getting married. Don't really have a date yet, but it won't be too far away, I think!
And when it does happen, you're all invited - and that includes Johnny. So long as we got a more portable tank to keep him in at the time...
Must run! Going window shopping for an outfit! I'm sooooo excited!!

--Yes, GoodGuy and myself are having our characters wedded and, although there is not a set time or anything yet, anyone and everyone are welcome to attend. Heck, if it takes place in Pocket D, even some of the villainous crew can attend! (Dr Mechano, Chim, I'm looking at you )
Ok, I have compleated a dummy run today for my new workplace. At currant, travel time will be a whopping 2 hours! That, coupled with store closing times and bus timetables, means that after next week, I will be severely unlikley to be on before 9PM.

Well, we started, but didn't get far. Two missions in, and we've had to delay it (again) I'm starting to wonder if it would have been better to try on a Sunday or something...
Two missions makes it sound like we were only on for 30mins, those mishes took ages. At least we've started, but I agree that weekends may be best for TFs. Especially as it's delayed the Watchmen storline for the last few weeks.

All of the Watchmen with personal email accounts receive an email today. Attached is a video file.
If you click on it the video starts to play. The scene is an office which surprisingly has no books or papers in it. In centre frame is a large desk. A man is sitting behind it hidden in shadow. He is stroking a large white cat.
"Ah Watchmen, we meet at last."
The man leans foward so that his face is in the light. He is a thin man with a wide grin and a mop of brilliant red hair.
"Sorry, guys," he adds, now speaking in a Liverpool accent. "It seemed funny when I thought of it."
He stands up and lets the cat go. He speaks into a dictaphone. "Note to self. Return Fluffles to Mrs Miggins. Collect $20 reward. Spend it on ciggies and beer. Bonus."
He turns back to the camera. "Sorry, mates, I should introduce myself. I'm Dr Milo Symmian. Well, it's Professor actually, but the ladies prefer a Doctor. Some of you may remember me as the spandex clad crimfighter Spidermonkey before my untimely death. But I won't confuse you with that now, I just want to thrown out the idea of an information sharing exercise. I fought alongside Saule once or twice and I think I have some idea about what caused what happened to you. Although, to be honest, I really hope I'm wrong.
"Anyway, I'll be watching the Reds stuff Chelsea in the Dirty Duck tonight, but I could maybe meet you tomorrow at my office. I'm head of the advanced robotics and nanotechnology department here at Paragon U. It's not as fancy as it sounds, in fact, I am the advanced robotics and nanotechnology department at Pargon U.
"So swing by Wednesday evening and we can chat. The coffee here is (bleep!) so bring your own. Mine's a skinny Arabian mocha sanani."
