Pvp tank
Fire/nrj or Inv/nrj if you want to actually fight.
Stone/nrj if you want to be a taunt-bot.
Ice/nrj if you like to never die.
(Use ss instead of nrj if its a siren build)
ss is actually tasty damage all the way up to 50, just dont expect to be doing much damage to defs and trollers if they ahve their epic sheilds up. Rage is a joy but NRG is a harder hitter from 38 on though. Fire attack is too aoe to be of much use in pvp unless your intention is be a dedicated MM muncher
primaries its fire for a great heal and an extra build up, downside is you need acro for kb protection and cj for immob
inv is just pretty damn good generally for tanks though psi will devour you
ice is great

/Stone is another option quick activation times mean its got high DPS but not as good as SS or EM but I thought it was worth mentioning.
But you cant go wrong with Invul/, Ice/ or Fire/ down to personal preference.

I would say the best Tanker to actually go out and fight 1 vs. 1 etc. ist Ice/EM so good choice.

Stone is very good "during the build up duration" outdamaging /SS with the right attack chain for 10 seconds but not /NRG.
/SS is made alot better overtime than it actually is with air sup in the mix.
Stone can be good through out ALL zones. /SS is more sirens onwards. Energy is more Warburg onwards.

The attack chain during build up can be made awesome due to the level of recharge you can get using seismic smash under hastened conditions. 2 seismic smashes within a build up duration gives it a lovely high burst chain.

Another quetion, is enrgy absorption worth taking in pvp use?
And chilling embrace seems like good power both in pve and pvp, but does it take stalker out of hide?

Build up duration: 10 sec
Seismic Smash recharge: 20 sec
Hasten recharge bonus: 75%
So you can't land 2 seismic smash during Build up, except if you slot your seismic with recharge (and if you do so, you can also land 2 knockout blow within almost the same time).

Stone is as good as SS for Brutes (rage is not as powerful as a mid fury) but for Tanker SS is way better in pvp: more damage over time and more accuracy. SS is better than Stone whatever the zone is (for Tankers).
I made a new tank recently, havent played it much, but what i want to know is, what realy is the best build? i went 4 ice armour with energy melee, cause the stonearmour is so slow. at first i was thinking ice/fire cause of the damage output of fire, but energy seems to be a bit better when facing squishy´s like blasters, dom´s etc, cause of the disorient chance. So what is the best pvp build to u guys?
