Catz
P.S Thanks to anyone who nominates me for the nominations, All appreciated very much!
My nomination goes to Nightsparrow for her excellent Nightsparrow's Scrapbook. The actual Scrapbook can be found on Militia forum.
The Scrapbook is original and fresh. The creator combines In-Game events into nice graphics and produces material that makes the world come alive on a new level. The press coverage gives meaning to the actions that the characters commit and enhances the reality feeling.
I was personally very excited to get my character's picture into the Scrapbook for the first time. It gave him and the supergroup he belongs to a public face. Later on the character got entangled with various libelous claims that had some long running In-Character consequences.
I know that the Scrapbook has touched the In-Character lives of quite a few people and even more are aware of the material. To me the Scrapbook represents the current highest manifestation of CoX creativity.
This months long and still on-going creative work well deserves the attention and Nightsparrow deserves the Creative Genius title for her immense, dedicated and in-depth work.
I highly second Coile choice. Even if it's not a voting process.
Nightsparrow work is creative, fun, serve also for RP purpose in plots, reference.
From just a "scrapbook", it became something we have integrated in our gamestyle.
(And there is more... There is the Caliburn 14 log reports)
*clap*
I join in on the nomination for Nightsparrow's scrapbook diary. It is amazing creativity and tremendously fun as well, and has enriched the ingame lives of many RP'ers - all in all completely amazing work! Almost any diary entry in itself would be worth the award, and the sum is just breathtakingly awesome.
Another nomination going in for Night Sparrows Diary (links previous posts)
I think it's brilliant, s'great fun and the best way i have seen so far of a player keeping track of stuff IC. Simply think it's absoloutely brilliant, love ta read it and especially when ya get mentioned ;D
Can we have a clarification here Bridger, does the piece of work have to be on the Creative Forums or can it be in a more suitable area of the board? Given all other restraints of course.
I nominate Catz for my wallpaper... er... her christmas picture here!
edit... oh no.. a moment of weakness and I've joined in something that annoys me... this is a nomination thread, not a voting thread... one nomination is enough per entry...

If you have nothing useful to say, you have two choices: Say something useless or stay quiet.
Another nomination for Nightsparrow for all of the reasons already mentioned. It's been going for a while now and always comes across as a work motivated by passion for their characters and the people they interact with. It's always a joy to see another instalment posted.

There needs to have been a post of some kind made on the Creative Board in the relevant month, in order for the work to be 'entered' into the competition (third rule of nominations, in the original post).
I'd nominate Catz, but it's already been done....!

Same here!
@FloatingFatMan
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
I'll join the band-wagon of doing nominations while pretending not to, and also avoid all mentions of voting.
I'd nominate Nightsparrow for her scrapbook (link posted a few times already on this thread, and hey, this isn't _really_ a nomination...no, wait, I guess it is.)
Like I posted on the thread earlier, the Scrapbook, as well as Paragon Inquirer especially are great enhancement to the gameworld immersion, as well as the effort and love put into making it is apparent. There's eye for small details in the graphical layout, use of colors and fonts, types of paper. She takes ingame screenies for photographs as well as uses other artwork to create more varied styles. Many of the Paragon Inquirer headlines are hilarious in their sleazy sensatiolist UFO-magazine style. In-game magazines have always held a special place in my heart, and so does this. I'll also mention the impact the scrapbook has had on others - it has inspired others to create more news articles, as well as create graphical presentations of their work. Even I have contemplated of getting back to writing one of these days...
For Nightsparrows dedication, effort and passion for this, a nomination, or dozen, are well deserved. So there.
Blackdove
Mine goes to Nightsparrow as well.
Good job!

I didn't say anything to hint that! ....*confused*

Nothing wrong in making a new post and using more words, if you feel like that, Chiefette. It's great for the artist to hear ALL the reasons they are appreacited for. Too rarely people say what's good, usually it's just what's bad.
So, if you have good words, let's hear them. <smile>
